Generally the cameras are pretty obvious, big boxes with a plastic cover in front pointed at the intersection. These are not temporary installations that they move around, it has to be synced with the traffic light and properly aimed and have an RF link (or dedicated line) to a monitoring and recording facility. They usually post big signs that say PHOTO ENFORCED or something to that effect. This is not a clandestine operation designed to covertly issue tickets, it is a technological method for enforcing traffic light laws without using the valuable resource of a police officer for the 20 - 30 minutes that it takes to make a stop, get the information, write the citation etc, and it doesn't reduce the flow of traffic by occupying a lane or causing the rubber necks to slow things down.

Why do you want to know? So that you can run the red lights at the other intersections? Folks, please do not provide answers that will help questioners to break laws and kill us.
In order to satisfy Yahoo's requirement that all responses answer the question, I offer the following, bad, suggestion:
Run red lights at every interestion. Keep track of when you ran a red light at which intersection. Compare the times on the tickets with your log so that you can tell which intersections you were at when they photographed you.

Look for the hardware at any intersection - it's pretty obvious to find a camera, often with a spotlight for flash photography.

Run the red light and see if you get a ticket.
Around here you can see them, especially at night when the flash goes off.
