It was an exciting time when The night Stalker, Richard Ramierz was running wild in LA area in the 1980's. It wasn't until the 1990's, when I learned that non-law enforcement and random people were actively "hunting" for him. Be it for the glory, the thrill and the bounty on his head.

I lived in Los Angeles during that time and it was pretty scary. He was a real nut! Glad they caught him. So I don't like it when a serial killer is on the loose.

no.Anyone can kill someone so serial killers are nothing special though movies make them out to be. With good protection of the standard prey there could be less of them.Political attituides are more dangerous than serial killers and so are specific politicians that will not leave countries alone Vietnam for one, the usual examples for others.

If I remember right according to the FBI there are around 50 serial killers on the loose right now...... Happy hunting.

The only person who liked that time was the guy doing the killing. Perhaps you should ask the families of the victims about that "exciting time".
