Those are the rantings of The Politically Correct and Nambla. Most deserve the death penalty. I kind of like mimahairball's idea too and let them molest each other, until the cows come home.

Although I believe in being tough on pedophiles... some pedophiles can be "cured" and will only know if they are released... they committed a crime and serve the time for that crime. They have the right to be released when their time is served. If you want to make that argument of why should we release pedophiles from prison if they can't be cured, then we should say all criminals should be locked away because they cannot be "cured." Over 80% continue to commit crimes once they are released from prison.

If he was released, he had served the term of his sentence from the crime he committed, and the courts and the prison can't hold him beyond that period of time. He most likely was released with some kind of reporting probation or parole, where he must report his actions and activities regularly to his parole officer. If he fails to do this, he goes back to prison for parole violation. Pedophiles and convicted sex offenders must report to and register with the local authorities in the area of their residence. They WILL be keeping an eye on him. Unfortunately, they can't be locked up forever...... but if he commits another offense, he'll go back to prison for hopefully a longer sentence. In my state, they have a special prison where they deal with sex offenders...... by keeping them in custody, and psychological treatment designed to prevent re-occurrence of the crime.

a cure is different than paying his debt to society for an action he committed in the past.

Because our laws are helping the criminals more than the victims.
They have done a portion of their time, now they can go out and molest another child.

and why let him live. or send them to a pedophile island where there is no children and let them survive on there own so we don't have to support them
