I'm going to say only one of it, since the other day people misunderstood the question.
If someone got a ticket at a stop sign. It was night time, no cars.
And if the someone DID completely stop at the stop sign, but the police said he only stopped for 3 or 4 seconds, and the law says for 5 seconds. How would the police know if he stopped for 3 or 4 seconds. They were also no cars. What if he miscounted? Is that fair??

I have a few unpaid tickets in California and Oregon and want and I'm planning to go to Montana. I'm a little concerned about getting pulled over in Montana because of my unpaid tickets. How much information does a trooper or highway patrolman have access? Can they access all your info from other states? What if you have never had any tickets. Can they still access your personal info like address and such?

How many miles over the posted limit is acceptable to you? I say no more than 5 over, because 10 over will definitely get you a ticket.

I know this is probably a dumb question. But I received my first ticket today and the officer never gave me a ticket but he also did not say he was letting me go. He just said have a nice weekend. Did I luck out?

I got my first DUI early this morning, and was arrested and arraigned. I am out on bond, and never actually went to jail yet. In anyones' opinion here based on experience in the field, is it likely that I'm going to do jail time? I have no prior criminal history (other than a couple of tickets for speeding or whatnot) have no drug history, no history of any kind whatsoever. I blew a .119 and the limit is .08. Please spare me the "you DESERVE to go to jail" creed as I am already truly apologetic for what I have done, and don't need to be judged anymore than I have. I'm just nervous as to know what my fate holds. I live in West Virginia, by the way.

i like to ride my bicycle to the pub, so as not to risk my driving licence, if, after say 10 beers i get stopped by the cops for, lets say, wonkey riding, i accept they can do me for bein drunk in charge of a bicycle, but can they do me for that and it affect my driving licence??

I lost my temper with someone and set out to kill him. I managed to calm down enough to not do it. The next day I saw my doctor and told him that I needed help as I didn't know if I could control myself in the future. The doctor called the police and I spent the next six month in jail waiting for my trial and then sentance. I was given twelve months suspended for eighteen. I would like to know if it was lawful to charge me with threats to kill when asking for help not to lose my temper in the future?
