I want to make a complaint to Interpol, not to french police.
I live in Paris, and I've been victim of a gang who stole me a lot of money on the internet. It's an international cybercriminality, so I think Interpol and FBI are the best to do the investigations and catch the criminals...

I live in Paris...

Help me, please...

To start with I hold my hands up and agree I was speeding like an idiot!!

My driving has improved vastly since I got pulled over by the police in October last year. (I was doing an average of 98mph)

However, although I was issued with a ticket on the day, some 6 months later I still haven't had a summons or heard anything else about it.

The police officer that pulled me over said I should not worry about anything until I hear off them...... but of course I worry about it everyday - stupid I know but I love driving - need it for work etc etc - and yes I know I shouldn't have been speeding at the time but I was.

I was just wondering is there a cut off point to where the police can not convict you of the offence or is it just an on going thing until you hear off them?

I don't want to be 90 years old and still worrying about the afore mentioned problem.

Cheers for your response.

I've heard everything from "I don't like Mondays" to "My dog told me to."

Never once have I heard someone claim to kill because there is no God, and they won't be held accountable.

Thoughts?

Iv heard that new cops need to be peper sprayed so they know what it feels like. that way they dont go around macing people all the time.
I was wondering if cops also had to be tazered so that they would be aware of the force they are in control of.
anyone know if this is true?

So, i recieved a speeding ticket in san francisco where EVERYONE drives 10mph plus on 280 or 101, my story is, I was driving on the fast line about 70 mph 5 mph over(65 being the speed limit) and this car that was behind me approached me at a fast speed and decided to tailgate me and so i decided to drive a little fast and pull over so that person behind me can past me up......So the cop decided to pull that person over behind me and ME at the same time and gave us both speeding tickets for going 75 on a 65...

Question: 1.) Can a cop pull 2 people over with accurate readings of how fast they are going? espeically me? from just judgeing the car behind me?
2.) would i fight this in court?

So Im a victim of a Credit Card Fraud. The interesting thing is, unlike many other people who have no idea who has stolen their credit card, I know who the perp is.
(It is a cashier at a Starbucks)

What can I do?

what's the best way to find out if that is true or not? Since you can have old or possibly even new warrants and things like that and not be aware of them is that correct? I think that is my understanding from another question that I read. Please try to be honest if you can if you don't know say so I will still give you the two points no prob, but I would like good answers if I can get them. thanks

It was September 11, 1857. A wagon train of 160 settlers on their way to California was massacred by a bunch of Mormons dressed in Indian clothes. 17 children under the age of 8 were spared and lived to tell their story.
1st. They dressed as Indians but after five days they changed tactics.
2nd. Then they went a bit away ,dressed back into normal clothes and acted like the Rescue Party who had negotiated a deal with the"Indians".
3rd, Then confiscated all the guns as part of the deal for "saving" the travellers and Mormon dissidents( who were the reason for the attack in the first place).
4th. Took everybody off a mile or so and shot them all. 2 men got away but were eventually tracked down and killed a day or so later.
5th. Took the 17 children they had not killed back with them to Salt Lake City.
6th. Got away with it. After a publicized trial, with the childrens own testimony admitted into the court, only 1 man was convicted and hung, John D. Lee. ( pardoned by Church 1950)

I know college police are not the brightest bulbs, but come on, that place should have been crawling with cops pronto after the first shooting.

My brother in law got married 2 months ago; now getting divorced. No children involved. She quit her job and would always complain he wouldnt give her an allowance, then she would say she would pay the gas bill for example then spend it on getting her nails done or something. Anyways not good from the get go. They are not living together now but she came over and was throwing his things around in the house and screaming. My Bro in law left then she called the cops saying he hit her and when the cops got there she had injured herself and is now blaming him for it. she was not injured when he left. Will my brother in law get in trouble or can he file charges on her for lying? And her father is threatening to kill my in law.

I think it would be a good thing. Not just because its "cool" or whatever, but its not harmful. It would keep people from doing more dangerous drugs, they wouldnt have to worry about getting caught with weed. But then again, the appeal of pot to some people is the fact that its illegal. So do you think it would do more harm or good to legalize the stuff?

Looking into this for a friend. After you go through police academy, say at a community college that offers it, and after you pass all of the state exams, how do you go about getting a job as an actual officer? Is there recruiting involved? How long does it usually take to get hired? Are there people who never find jobs? Is it difficult to get hired into a desired city? Are the only guaranteed cities that hire major metro areas (i.e. Detroit)? Are there any good jobs for people with only community college training, or do all of the "good" positions go to four year college grads? Please no guesses. I'm trying to find real answers. Feel free to add anything helpful, specifically if you or someone close to you has been through the process. Thanks.
