i mean all the school shootings i understand 2nd amendment rights but thats for a militia right so why dont we just do away with guns and give them to people who need them like cops and military

Yeah, stricter laws really work, name the three highest per-capita murder cities, then name the three cities with the strictest laws to keep law abiding citizens from having firearms. BINGO, you get the same list!! get a life, and let me live mine and yes, I carry a gun and I don't care what the law says about it, I would rather serve a little jail time than die at the hands of some jerk-off car jacker.

Lets say there are ten million firearm owners at this given moment, one went crazy and killed some people so we all should lose our legal entitlement to firearms? When basic amendment rights gets taken away it makes you question what is next. Our motor vehicles kill far more people than guns. I know of two fellow students who were killed by people driving drunk in a motor vehicle and 2 more who were injured. (In three seperate incidents, and I live in a town of only 3,000 people) If you enforce stricter laws against drunk drivers you would save far more lives.

Guns don't kill people, its the crazy pis**d off psychos on the other end that kill people. Quite frankly, I'd like the right to own a gun when one of those people try to break into my house.

I don't mind if you don't have any guns.
I have plenty of guns, but I am not going to go out and use them on people.
Someone who is bent on shooting people is going to get guns, regardless of how many laws you pass.
All you are doing is punishing law abiding citizens who want to have guns for sport, hunting or just looking at them if they choose.
