This is for research for my novel. Can you get a warrant (and search warrant) for a person you know by their alias and not their real name? I was wondering if it's remotely possible.

I just found out I have a warrant for my arrest for a bad check. It was only a $20.00 check, and I did not know it bounced; I have overdraft protection so I don't know how that happened. I haven't had a job in 7 months and have no income whatsoever, but I would like to get this taken care of. I was wondering if a arrest warrant shows up on a criminal background check whenever I apply for jobs? That could be why I haven't gotten a job yet if it does.

Criminals getting compensation, kids running riot, I'm not safe on the street or in my house and I can not defend myself. The police have become next to useless because of it.

Anybody that knows or been through an interview like this..

I had an interview today for a police officer position. I am an auxiliary officer with this department and have been for 4 years, know most of the guys, higher ups, etc. Today was the interview for a full time position. The interview went well, however a few times, the police chief mentioned things like, "if you don't get it this time, we're going to be hiring a lot next year.." and "don't get discouraged, your application will remain on file for a year" He mentioned that a few times. He asked about 5 questions about me.

When he said that I started to get worried.. I go to all the training, calls, etc.. however, when they mention things like that, is that a bad sign? Or do they tell that to everbody? I know people on the department and I am sure my lieutenant on the department will put a word in for me?

During our group interview, he told everybody the same thing. However, why would he mention it a few times?

I have so much pain in my heart from family deaths. My sister passed away from what we think was Prozac side effects.

I had a very close net family that included my dad's sisters and brothers. Now my family is desintegrating, dad dead, uncles too, the matriarch of the family died adn Im devastated. . I feel numb from so much loss. Not numb for I do feel terrible sadness and as if my entire life was taken away.
How can one get over grief like these? Its an entire family history gone.

A history unlike many. I had a great family. It came with many great surprises and neat gatherings. All that is gone now.

I keep getting one death after the other one.
I feel happy for them but not for me any suggestions how to not loose one's foundation when all are dying around you?

Now, someone was asked this question by me, and he
has never spoken to me again because I asked him about his

I meant in so far as just wanting to be nosy, about how these
men on the streets out there in uniform think............................

Basically, he was gorgeous so the uniform was not an issue

My son bought a used car with safety cert. believing it to be legal and was put off the road by police and made to get it towed home. Need to know where he stands in this and where to go for advice. My son is not very financial after buying car and does need added expense, especially as he thought it was roadworthy and had nothing to worry about.

My daughter has told us that her father has been touching her. The law is involved and went to her father's house to question him. He refused to speak to the deputy without his lawyer. If he didn't hurt my baby, because i'm sure he'll deny it, why wouldn't he cooperate with the investigation?

i recently had to do a drug test for work, but the night before, my band members smoked weed, and even though i tried my best to stay on the other side of the room, i smelled a little of it. also this has happened on other occasions. i dont smoke. will i come up dirty anyway?
