Do something more interesting like throwing dog poop in his yard, or leaving roadkill at the curb near his home, or take out an ad in the paper proclaiming your new found love for him.

I think it depends on where you live. Have you Googled your state laws? Because after the whole Facebook suicide thing, abuse over the internet isn't such a good idea. She probably could file a complaint for it if you included threats; you seem like a pretty smart individual though, so I'm sure writing a threat or two in your hate mail won't benefit you any more than what you already have to say. If this will help you move on, then I say go for it. But if you're a little unsure and would like some people to talk to, I suggest joining Post Secret Community. It's a great place to share stories from your life you may have trouble with, and many people are there to help.

I don't know what this guy did to you, but if it wasn't something really bad, you should probably just make friends with him. Unless he killed your dog or something, your life would probably improve if you try to bury the hatchet. (Um, in the ground, not his head.)

I get a lot of hate mail, but if you are being
racist on paper, you should stop it, just ignore
the SOB, and get on with your life.....................
Do not be drawn into anything else, get a lawyer if
someone starts on your life or you...........................
