Law Enforcement & Police - November 2006

I really appreciate that those who are reading this.
Okay, so I've sat my police exam on the 2nd September and I am still to book my police station perliminary interview.
Has anyone ever been put down so they are discouraged to advance with their application?
It's not like people have intentionally put me down, but they don't realise what they say and it gets me upset.
I'm half asian and half australian, I'm petite but tough mentally & phsically, when people find out I'm applying for the police they act so surprised and the first words are always "Arn't you too small" I'm approximately 158cm tall & weigh 53kg.

I get mistaken for a teenager when I'm 20 years old, people also say I'm very pretty which is flattering but I wish I was taller, weighed more so I looked solid and I wasn't so "pretty".

I guess I'm comparing myself to a stereotypical female officer who people usually say is plain australian, with a fat butt, and looks tough. What do you think? (Serious answers please)

I got pulled over for speeding.
The officer saw that I was a college student and decided to search my car for drugs.

I am going in December to take a written, physical and polygraph test to be a police officer in my city. I was wondering how hard the tests are. Also, what kind of questions do they ask on the polygraph test? I am nervous because I have done bad stuff in my past but I haven't ever got caught.

counterfeit. I put these checks into my bank account and come to find out a few days later that these checks were counterfeit. These people have contacted me several times since then stating that they would wire the money into my bank account and to date, have not done so. I have emailed them numerous times. Who do I contact to get my money back and make my bank account in the plus again? ok so last night i got into an accident involving my car and two others. In the freeway next to an exit... the car in the middle was not paying attention and smashed into the car in front of her really hard and the front of her car got smashed. I was paying attention completely but since it was a freeway and we were all going fast when i hit my foot on the brake really hard but i didnt make it on time and my car hit the car in the middle. Would she(the one in the middle responsible for the accident) be responsible for the damages on the front of my car or would it be my fault since i hit her car?

You and your trusty K9 have apprehended a major drug dealer and a large amount of drugs. You have to get them across the river, but the boat you found only holds the K9, the drugs, or the dealer one at a time and the K9 cannot swim across the river.
If you leave the K9 with Dealer, he will bite him. If you leave the Dealer with the drugs he might destroy the drugs. How do you get all 3 from one side to the other?
Note: The river is too deep and too swift for anyone to swim. All must be transported in the boat.
