If not - what is? I don't want to carry around a gun - maybe someday I would get one for my home but not right now.

I also carry a knife but don't think I could have the guts to stab someone.

BTW I'm 19

Some people in the U.S. donate money to police organizations. In return they get a sticker to apply to the rear bumper of their car. Some even apply it directly to the license plate. When/if the vehicle is pulled over for a traffic violation, the police officer will notice that somebody associated with the vehicle has supported their organization, making it less likely the driver will receive a ticket for any violation.

They are out there risking their lives for you everyday, yet people treat them like trash. Yes, they stop you for breaking the law, yeah i know you were only going 10 over but thats still a violation. Police officers take bullets for civilians, yet people still call them pigs. The truth is they have the most dangerous job out there and they do it for a low salary and bad hours. Only a criminal would talk down about them. A law abiding citizen has nothing bad to say about them. Who do you call when someone breaks into your home, who do you call when youve been attacked, who do you call when your life is in danger? You call the cops.

Do you have any idea what happens when "WE the people" try to change the gov in this country? Just take a llok at waco, TX and Ruby Ridge....For a country with so much freedom, we've managed to become complacient and just roll with whatever our gov wants. Anyone who tries to actually change the gov (And i don't care what anyone says, protesting does not work) suddenly finds themselves on the wrong end of a media drive-by.!!!!

I got mugged for the eighth time. The cops told me I should carry a gun. I live in a liberal city where thugs carry guns and get a slap on the wrist maybe 30 days in county jail. They said if I do shoot somebody I should just run away. If two thugs mug me and I shoot and one of them, the accomplice will be charged with murder. I'm not interested in the legality part. I want to know a good sized gun that would be well concealed that I could carry around everywhere I go. Also, tell me a what range I would have to shoot the assailant to drop him.

I don't know what to do. I was leaving a club the other night and I had a few drinks. I was driving my car and all of a sudden the lights came on behind me.

So I pulled over and two friendly officers came up to my window. They asked me if I was drinking and I told them I only had a few. They told me that I would have to pass a sobriety test.

They had me get out of the car and assume the position. They then lifted up my skirt and pulled off my panties and said they were looking for contraband.

The officers then said that I would have to walk the line and prove my sobriety. They ordered me to walk behind the trees on the side of the road and the police began to sodomize me.

I felt so humiliated and degraded, but what the heck I guess it's better than going to the slammer. I heard the one officer say to the other that there's no way anyone can get a clean dna sample from the backdoor and that they were letting me off easy.

It's been a few days now. Was this rape

The goal of the government would be to eliminate the black market, provide a more educated use of it, influence recreational use over chronic use, make it difficult to get but better than illegal methods, and make a profit to fight more dangerous drugs. I'm not a smoker, but I think time and resources are wasted in its current regulation.

Please do not debate the reasons for/against legalization, simply how the government could most responsibly make legalization happen.

I'm thinking only seeds should be sold, so people can grow it themselves and with limited consumption. No actual consumeable parts should be legally sold. License retailers such as cigarette sellers to sell sealed seed packets from regulated producers. Make it illegal to grow a large amount or resell. Make it illegal to smoke while driving or operating machinery. 18 and over. Increase fines and jail time against any illegal offenses involving the illegal use or selling of it. Can only grow on your property.

Did you know that there is an increasing trend of corporate-owned prisons? They receive money from the government to help with prison overpopulation, and the prisoners work making money for the corporations... more than just the stereotypical "license plates" they make products for major corporations, earning them a lot of money and devaluing the worker much in the same way as the practice of using illegal immigrant workers. They make a lot of money doing so... they claim this practice is cheaper for the government than publicly-owned prisons, but it is contended that they are not. In order to keep these per-prisoner profits, they form public advocacy campaigns keeping drugs illegal and supporting longer sentences and being "tough on crime".

American citizens have a much greater chance of being killed by police officers then they do by a terrorist.

Police Kill Innocent people almost daily. Police kill people mistakenly when they open fire by mistake and unleash a flurry of rounds from automatic weapons.

Police kill innocent people when they are in high speed pursuits of non-violent felons and they run over children and old ladies.

Big headed cops will kill anyone in a heartbeat if you don't bow down and succomb to their inflated egos that they think they are God.

Police are not God. They just think they are gods. Remember the Mark Fuhrman tapes. Fuhrman said it best. We police are Gods out there. Police would let you think that they have a dangerour job. Bulls.h.i.t.

Police have a higher life expectancy than almost any other occupation. Higher than farmers, trashmen, pilots. Their lives are not at risk. They just put Americans lives in jeopardy by callous gun toting propaganda thugs like Hitler.
