A police officer ticketed my vehicle, sitting completely in my driveway, at 2am, for not displaying a city vehicle sticker. I had purchased the sticker within the allotted amount of time, I just had not affixed it to the windshield. No other neighbors on the block were ticketed, despite the fact none of them had their stickers displayed, and some were even past due on purchasing the vehicle sticker. I feel targeted. Is it legal for the police to come onto my private property to see if the sticker is displayed, and ticket me if they do not see one?

The above song was written by Bob Geldof and performed by his band The Boomtown Rats. The song is about a 15 year-old girl who shot people at her school - which was opposite her house - using a rifle her parents bought her for her birthday (yes, really!). About four died and others were wounded. This outraged outraged America at the time (i.e. the song, not the killings), and the young killer's explanation for her actions was: 'I don't like Mondays'. Hence the song title.

Here in the UK, killers typically get released after about 12 years, as long as they promise not to do it again. I believe you have a similar system in the USA. All of the above happened quite a long time ago, so if the lady in question is still locked up, she will be long overdue her parole. I heard the song on the radio yesterday, which prompts my question: Is this lady still in prison?

Video Cameras and Tape recorders are absolutely forbidden in prisons. Why are Correctional Officers so afraid that the public will find out about their abusive prison conditions of torture and filth in penitentiaries.

Why does everything the public hears and sees about prisons have to be censored?

Why do all the murdered prisoners by guards get covered up and never prosecuted.

Are the c.o.'s afraid of darkness coming to light?

Are the Officers afraid that they might too go to prison for all the crimes and abuses that they commit.

There will be no justice until Video Surveillance and Tape recorders are permitted by prisoners to publicly show what really goes on behind prison walls.

If the prisoners can't have them then they should be set up to monitor all the perimeters in order to protect society.

Most of these prisoners will be put back into society in the future and if you treat them like abused animals all hell will break loose on society when u let out.

Should Police have the power of God to take human life for not obeying their every command. Even if you're an innocent civilian and the police order you to obey their command they have the right to open fire on you and use deadly force.

If you're not committing a crime and some a.s.s.hole cop just orders you to do something. Should he be able to kill you for resisting?

Should police have the right to put their hands on law abiding citizens?

Should Cops have the right to make people lie down on the floor and make like an airplane and then kick them in the nuts.

I think that if police do have this awesome power that they should all be required to have a video surveilance system monitoring their every move and that police should pay severe penalties for abuse of authority.

Because of their great power of life and death they should be held strictly accountable for their actions. And abuse of authority should be severely punished in order to set a precedent against corrupt

Under what condition does the patiot act give an officer the right to search a locked glove box in a car .

I know that Jay-z says that they would need a warrent for that, but I think that song might be older than the patriot act.

I want to know because I just got a car and I only know my rights on foot.

a young woman approached him for directions and after he gave them she wanted to buy him coffee, he asked for beer. Later she came to his home with her grown son and wanted to give Eddie (67 & disabled) $100 to help her buy a pickup truck. Later they went out and instead tried to buy with his credit a VCR but his credit was too bad. (He didn't get the $100 nor the VCR but she saw his ss# in the process). The next day, she called and had to take care of her dead sister's 4 year old and found out her mom died in a car accident in Tenn. We are in NM and she's a licensed lawyer in Colorado. Something about she couldn't get money on Labor day... duh! She is going to Tenn. but staying with friends in N.J. Maybe we won't hear from her again.... but 911 (police) said a crime was not committed and I'm old too... the www.ftc.com was pretty scary. What can they do with his ss#? He has no credit cards but ... well, you know... He's sure she (43) cares for him in two days.... ugh.

I was on I 5 N and noticed a hwy patrol car parked on the shoulder ahead of me about 50yrds or so. Just as I passed him I was pulled over he said he clocked me on radar (prior to me passing him). I asked how did you radar me when I was behind you? He said they use rear radar? Is this legal can I fight this ticket successfully? There were other cars around me how do they know which car they clocked, especially when the officer is sitting in the front seat with his back to oncoming traffic? Any replies would be appreciated. Thanks.
