I really would be surprised if you get any jail time since you were not arrested at the time of the offense. If the trooper had thought you were driving so fast as to be reckless, he would have arrested you then. Face it, 92 mph is really irresponsible, and you were a danger to everyone else who had to share the road with you. I suspect you will get a big fine and a good *** chewing from the judge, maybe lose the PRIVILEGE of driving for being a buckethead and driving that fast. I don't think you will go to jail, unless you have other similar offenses of this type on your record. I hope you learned something this time. If not, then you kinda deserve to lose your license or a little jail time to consider how you operate a vehicle on a public roadway. I would rather see you in jail than to have to zip you or someone else you kill into a body bag some night.

You really didn't give enough details to say whether you should really be worried about going to jail but I will tell you this: Jail time is ALWAYS an option and if you are 19 and looking at a felony, with an existing record? maybe a few misdemeanors? I don't know where you are, but you certainly could be looking at Jail

Your question's a bit vague, Booboo, but it sounds like you're talking about a motoring offence. Here in the UK, you have to do a lot worse then that to end up in gaol, but as the guy above says, 'take care of the first ticket to show that you're taking some of this seriously', though you're unlikely to be imprisoned for a speeding/parking ticket.

In Great Britain, you can break into someone's house and our 'caring' politicians still won't lock you up.

I think the first thing to do is take care of the first ticket, show that you are are taking some of this seriously. I'd get a lawyer who does traffic court and know the game.

No, the worse thing that will happen is a higher fine, and put on probation. I've been through that alot.

Yeah, you will desire to be disturbing and disturbing. mandatory penitentiary time is in simple terms that. in case you have a job, request artwork launch. right here in AZ, you and your corporation fill out place of work work to allow you to bypass away the penitentiary, so which you do no longer lose your activity. This must be a longtime activity - no longer one you got the day previous, or one working to your pal. You fill out your weekly schedule and you're allowed to bypass away and could be lower back in the present day after your shift. in case you're previous due whilst quickly as, you are able to lose the privilege. penitentiary. the garments suck, the food sucks, you haven't any longer any comforts (pillows, genuine toothbrush, toothpaste, conditioner, deoderant), you haven't any longer any privateness, you haven't any longer any freedom. you'll be able to get "a job" interior the kitchen or laundry and that gets you out of the cellular for some hours each and every day. in case you're given the possibility, take it! you're undertaking to getting beat up or raped accepted. in case you have some or maybe only one troublemaker on your cellular block, they'd get the completed team in hassle and you will all be punished for some thing stupid they did. My suggestion is to apply the time properly. examine. It takes your suggestions off your undertaking and enables you to "escape" right into a different worldwide. in case you're in school, request permission to deliver your college books. Be courteous to the guards. Do as you're informed and don't communicate lower back. they are able to make your existence depressing in case you mistreat them. in case you have money, positioned some on your commissary. as quickly as a week, you are able to order issues like paper, envelopes, stamps, candy bars, coffee, etc. make the hassle to place in writing to human beings and ask human beings to place in writing to you. it is so superb to get a letter or postcard from the exterior worldwide. many assets you're taking with no attention and don't even comprehend it till they're taken away. devour your prominent meals, delight on your acquaintances and relatives for the subsequent 2 days. And even though you do, do no longer bypass in intoxicated on any substance. you would be able to desire to have upload'l quotes filed against you. right here in AZ, lots of the time, a 30 day sentence for first time offenders is 30 days, all yet 20 suspended. which ability you will in basic terms do 10 days. each and every so often you're able to try this for the time of a community penitentiary and not be sent to county. good success and that i'm hoping issues artwork out ok.
