I don't know for sure but going that fast is considered reckless driving. you will probably lose you license for a little while and actually might have to spend a few days in jail. I'd recommend a good lawyer

A fine is a certainty if Defensive Driving is not allowed, and you could very well lose your license for a while. I don't know if they will nail you with reckless driving since you were not arrested at the scene, but it is possible that the DA may charge you with that. Sentence for that would depend on your record. If you make a habit of this kind of thing, you might get some jail time. Some states will not let you erase a charge with a defensive driving course if you exceed the speed limit by more than a certain amount, so be prepared for the judge to deny you. I can't say for sure because I don't know about your state's law.

Two speeding tickets in less than two months? You'll probably get the full penalty for going 27 MPH over the speed limit and the full penalty for the previous speeding ticket will probably be put into effect since you haven't taken the defensive driving course as specified by the judge in your previous speeding ticket.

Depending on how old you are, you could exceed the maximum amount of points on your license; in which case, you could lose your driver's license. Learn the bus route back home or have a friend read to pick you up from the court building because they won't let you drive home if you do.

Be sure to go, the penalty for not showing up is a lot more expensive. Your gonna pay a fine but you can chose community service on the weekends if you can't afford the tabs. They also will set upa payment plan of a hundred bucks a month. Your Insurance will go up for three years even if you get rid of that lead foot. But slow down, stop running, or you may end up walking.

My husbands a cop and he said that depending on the judge and cop and how much of an *** they want to be. You will more than likely loose your liceanse and will go to jail for awhile and probably pay a fine. I would recommend setting up a time to go to the driving thing and kiss *** with the judge. And next time, slow down. You shouldnt be in such a hurry, if you are late, leave earlier.

Go see the ADA or DA and see if they will plead it down to a lesser offence. They are too busy prosecuting serious offenders instead of bothering with speeders, etc. If they won't, then wait for your turn with teh judge ans ask for a continuance. While in court, keep a lookout for attorneys representing others who are friendly with the judge and from the local are. Get their business card and see them later. Remember the judges and lawyers are members of the same clubs, etc. and teh judge will be more apt to work with an attorney... as he knows you are serious about reform.

I responded this comparable delusion tale the different day, and it fairly is not from now on achieveable right here. there is not any branch contained in america that makes use of Ferrari's as patrol autos. some companies makes use of specifically set up Mustangs and Camaros, yet they are particular objective pursuit autos. I take own offense at your characterizing the officer as stupid, you may in no way come close to getting to understand what that officer has to study to do his job, it is protecting human beings from you. Why could your license be suspended for 3 years, yet redeemable after ten years? it is in simple terms undeniable stupid. I even have in no way heard of everybody having their license suspended for one dashing quotation. there is plenty extra right here you have exceeded over to make your self look extra suited. Your tale does not bypass the smell try.

You should have gone the first time but since you're already in that fix, the best thing to do is to appear to the judge that you're very very very sorry for what you've done and you'd better have a good reason for not going to them the first time. don't act defensive because it will only cost you. plead to the judge for a lighter decision if you have to but you will definitely be fined. let's just hope your license will not be revoked. good luck
