My car was broke, and I had to carry many groceries from the store to my home; while I was carrying the groceries by foot toward my home, this officer came up and gave me a ride to my home. (I rode on police car)
I am planning to send the officer a letter of appreciation, but fear a possibility of punishments on the officer by the officer's boss or higher authorities; since the officer gave me the ride by police car while on duty.

If you are working in police department, would you tell me whether I should send the letter to the officer or not? I would like to thank but do not want to bother the officer.

Thank you for your time and suggestions!

I was taught not to call 911 unless it is an emergency. A real emergency for example someone is in cardiac arrest, their house is on fire, some one just kicked in the front door type of situtations.

Would you want the police to give your son or your mother a rectal cavity search and debase and degrade them?

Have Police Powers gone too far.

Have the Prison Systems just become a haven for Gay Abusive Power to Check Rectums for Police's own sick perverse gratification?

Can they be Stopped?

Okay, so I feel I wrongly got issued an MIP. I had already left a party and was about to get into my car when three officers drove up to my friend and I and asked us our ages. We are both twenty, so we told them and then they began to give us the little sobriety test. I had not been drinking and she drank a little. As one cop was talking to my friend, the other cop got into my car and began looking around (which I don't think was legal). He then did the test on me and said I was fine. Well, I got issued an MIP anyway because there was an empty bottle behind my car that someone had left there and I moved it.

If I contest this, do you think I will win???

I see people soliciting phone calls on late night tv, but wonder what's really legal. What can you talk about? Who is doing the talking? Couldn't you get trapped if you talked about stuff that's out of bounds? What usually happens on the phone?

Someone on Y!Answers just threatened me by email he'd track me down and kill me. I don’t think this will happen because I live in Europe, and I’ve felt more threatened in the past in other situations, but still I don’t trust this guy, not towards me, or other people he might run into in the open air. If I’d want to file a complaint against this guy in the US, how and where should I do his? Would it be possible to file a complaint without me going to the US and/or hire an expensive lawyer? Though I’d love to visit the US once, I prefer a nicer reason and for now I don’t have the time and money to come to the US. I hope someone will be able to give me a serious answer.

Seriously, this is a problem that's exhisted for decades, if not centuries, and it's my own opinion that we're way too leniant with those pieces of trash. I have a son, and I won't let him out of my sight, even in the front or back yard. And walking to school? Forget it. It's gotten to the point where perverts roam the streets so much, it's just not safe. Even when I was growing up, they were out there. It's been going on for a long time. Why?

I mean for bringing them to trial.

I am from one European country where one very influential politician started similar efforts asking local forum site. His name related with different scandals during last years. I give the name of Bush only as example in my answer - because I saw also many critical and even rude things in different forums about him.

It is interesting for me info about similar cases in USA.
I read also an interesting opinion in a local forum that might be a precedent should be created for another politician of a powerful nation could start similar things without being first. Maybe we do not know simply about other firsts?

The difference is that a proctologist checks out your rectum for your health and a police checks out your rectum for $$$$$$$ .

The police departments are recruiting Rectum Checkers out of gay newspapers. They're looking for a few good men to look up many men's rectums.

So if you're gay and you like to force your selves upon other men then go to your local police department and join the force.

The few the proud, Rectum Checkers.

The Gay Men in Blue. Why do you think they call their magazine Blueboy.

The men in blue.

Gay Pride, Gay Power, with big guns, a license to kill, a license to look up your rectum, a license to grab your *** and cock.

Gay Power.
