You should go to jail.
You don't deserve to have a ccw permit if you are that immature.
Just because you shoot and don't hit anyone, it doesn't mean it is legal

Not sure of the gun laws in Ohio.. But regardless of the CCW.. you just can't fire a weapon in the air for shits and giggles....ur not going to jail..obviously ur not a Felon..cuz you have a CCW.. So don't sweat it.. The vast majority of citizens who are CCDW permit holders will never have the occasion to use their weapons in a violent confrontation. However, for the few who do, it is important to know how to react once the shooting is over. Use your own common sense as well as the points mentioned above and things should work out just fine. Remember, most law enforcement as well as the vast majority of the public are on your side. Don’t turn these groups against your case by making ill-timed remarks. Sometimes the most difficult obstacles to overcome are the ones encountered after you re-holster your weapon.

In most jurisdictions, it is illegal to brandish and/or discharge a firearm without just cause, regardless of whether you have a CCW or not.
Chances are you will face some kind of sentence, possibly loss of CCW and a fine. Or you may have mandatory jail time. Best bet is to check with an attorney before you do anything further.

They will probably charge you with Reckless Endangerment (a felony) or Aggravated Assault (also a felony).
What goes up must come down --- someone could have been killed when the bullet fell. It happens quite often around New Years. Also, you put the person in fear of their safety when you fired the weapon in the air.
Most likely, you will go to jail and lose your ability to own a gun forever.
You did a very irresponsible thing and you do not need to carry a firearm.

Did you or a loved one feel threatened either by serious bodily harm or deadly force? You were in your rights to fire a warning shot if this was the case. Next time put 2-3 slugs in the offender and then 1 in the air

You should. Sounds like you were arrested for exhibiting/discharging a firearm in a dangerous or threatening manner and possibly a Domestic Violence related enhancement/charge. You will definitely lose your permit. That was a very stupid thing to do.

yes most likely you will go to jail at least for a short time, probation for sure and a large fine. And loose your carry permit also.
A permit to carry just allows you to carry it, not to actually fire or use it. You shot a weapon in city limits.

At the very least you will lose your CCW. They don't tolerate immature behavior with concealed weapons.
