and give u a ticket for running a red light (which your light was green and u and the cop are the only ones there) the u fight it and the cop does not show up to court do they remove it? does the cop who pulled u over have to show up to court also?

i work for a tow co. in cali. my boss put a gun to my head and told me to call my parents and have them give one of his drivers my title to my car and my car for money owed. police didnt even help becouse he tows for them. what can i do?

When I was living in VA, someone vandalized my car, which was only about 6 months ago, and I had filed a police report at the time, so it should be on record. I just recently found out for certain who did it and I was wondering what the statute of limitations was on something like that.

In a Jersey Ctiy, NJ, I was visiting a friend. I parked in the street, but I wasn't aware that I wasn't allowed to park there because there was street cleaning that day in the hours that I parked there. I got a ticket for $42. I paid the fine, then a few weeks later, I got a notice in the mail saying that I have yet to pay the fine on a parking ticket for the week BEFORE the ticket I already paid for. I had in fact visited my friend the week before and parked in the exact same spot. However, there was no ticket on my car at the time. So I am guessing it might have flew off. Yet the city is demanding I pay the ticket for $42, plus another $20 as a late fee.

My argument is, that if I had actually RECEIVED that ticket for the first week, then I would have never parked there the second week. Why would I park there a second time in a row if I knew I got a ticket for parking there the week before?

Can I make an argument out of this in court? Or should I just pay the ticket?

There have always been vigilantes in our society from the lynch mobs who hanged African American men to men looking to exact revenge against disliked segments of society (gang members, sex offenders, etc.)

Why do some persist in thinking that vigilantism is any type of solution to problems faced by society?

Oh i wish i could help out with sentencing, there would not be an eyesore piece of land anywhere, no dirty beaches, no elderly peoples overgrown gardens, The streets would be gleaming and anyone not pulling their weight would have their sentences increased. asbo's might keep them off the street but is that just reward for mugging old people, knife attacks, vandalism etc.....

just had 2 cars repoed @ 1 in the afternoon, on saturday of labor day weekend. (so we couldn't get anyone at the bank) we knew we were behind, but have been in continual contact with the bank, and actually just paid one payment on each on thursday. just wanted to know if the repo men were, by law, supposed to show me proof of permission or what?

why is somebody not putting up a barrier to stop the flow of the nastiest form of human specis they are sucking are system dry from welfare to taxes to jobs.They come here and rape are kids, vandalise arehomes bring there crime because thats all they know.They dont pay taxes and they cram a dozen of the filthy scum into a two bedroom place.
