Posting bail money is simply an added incentive to your "promise to appear" for future court dates. It doesn't bar you from going outside of the state, even for living. The exception would be if you not only posted bail, but the judge imposed some 'other' restrictions, such as travel. Absent that however, the person just needs to be diligent in making their court appearances, whether they live in the same Pennsylvania city as the court, or at their new place of residence in Boston (forexample).
The old movies often had those scenarios where the defendant was told 'not to leave town'.

Typically you can not move out of state if you are on bail for any amount. You even have to get special, written permission just to leave state temporarily. Check with the court or the bail bondsman before doing anything.

The bail bond is to make sure that the released person will appear for trial. Any other conditions should be included in the bail bond.

It's up to the court what the conditions of the bail are, should be spelled out in your (his) release docs.
Whoever ponied up the bond money would probably had a doc that you couldn't leave the state without their permission, too, cover their investment.

And the answer would be no.
Not certain, but I think it likely. That sort of stuff is usually specified at the bail hearing, and the released defendant is usually told to remain in the area.

It will be up to the court and/or the bails bondsman that bailed you out.

If this person jumps bail, will his/her parents lose their house, car, and financial security? Probably. Not my idea of a friend!

POSSIBLY you could forfeit your bail . Just to be 100% certain, ask your lawyer

No and in most states you aren't even supposed to leave you county, parrish what ever it is called in PA.
