Love can survive an incarceration, but it will take a lot of patience. Because someone else has control over when you can see/talk to your mate. It also tampers with a mates faith in the free one being monogamous. But when the separation is over it will be worth it.

If the two are both willing to make the necessary sacrifices and be completely committed to eachother, then yeah it might. It all depends on what the one who is not incarcerated is willing to deal with.

First of all one has to ask ones self.
Is this "love'" a true "love'?
Physical attraction, materialistic mutual likes and a few other notions/feelings often are mistaken for love.
Love is a complicated state of being.
When the one you love suddenly is no longer there by you, it can hurt so much. Visit, as often as possible, talk and when you look at your loved one now, look deep inside yourself. There you shall find the answer you seek.
Perhaps this separation will bring much more meaning to life now then ever before.......above all remember; God dint' make this happen.................... : - )

It depends upon the length of the prison term and the reason for the prison term. Some people make a mistake and pay for it, others are criminals and will never change. Which one is your man?

If he is the criminal type, dump him while you have the chance.

If it is true love it will survive even the ugliest hurdles. If it is truely love than faith will walk hand in hand with your will power. And desire will wash away with your tears.
