There are laws in the penal code for your state that will state in plain English when a pat down search, strip search, or body cavity search is allowed. Law enforcement must follow these guidelines before performing any invasive body cavity search. Check the penal code for your state, and if anyone feels they have been improperly searched, they can file a complaint. As a general rule, law enforcement does not violate people. They are subject to the same laws as anyone else residing in your state.

What kind of question is that anyway. Only licensed health professionals who practice within their scope of duties (such as doctors and nurses) are allowed to perform body cavity searches, or to insert digits, objects or instruments beyond a body orfice and where I went to school, this does NOT include police officers. If it is being done, this is assault and battery, and a gross abuse of power!

Why do you keep going to jail if you dont like having a finger stuck up your ***? Look I would say its going too far for the searches at my job to include a cavity search, but in jail by all means put a finger up everyones ***.

Well, let's see. The alternative is to what? Let people enter jails and prisons with all kinds of stuff, drugs, weapons, ?, up their butts.
I don't particularly enjoy having a stranger shove his hand up my butt, but if I were being put in a jail or prison, I'd appreciate knowing they were doing something.
