Depends on the state. In some yes, in some no. Here's a listing: http://www.coolnurse.com/abortion_laws.htm

Looks like 15 states do have abortion on demand for a 16 year old. A few others aren't enforcing their parental permission laws.

No. Abortion is all about money, and no abortionists kill babies for free. The girl can, however, get totally free and confidential help at a pregnancy care center, and there are lots of these care centers in Chicago. She can find one near her at:

or by calling 1-800-395-HELP

Generally, no.

First, most states require waiting periods and parental notification (or consent) for minors. Second, it depends on how far along she is, and the other medical circumstances.

According to several websites, Illinois does not require parental notification. However, most hospitals and clinics will not perform with any sort of significant medical procedure on a minor without a legal guardian signing off on the consent form.

Those guys are right, it varies. However as a parent, I feel it should be ILLEGAL for a child to do such a thing without parental consent. PERIOD.....and anyone who hands me this womans right BS needs to rethink there life. A 16 year old is not a WOMAN.

Maybe you should just contact a clinic and ask them over the phone. You would probably get the most accurate information this way.

Depends, but before you do think of all the people who would love to adopt a child, and then you wouldn't be murdering an unborn child.

In Missouri, most of the time your name is kept confidential, so if you look 18, they don't ask for ID.
