i went to a bar this sat and everyone told me i looked pretty and sexy. well my crush did too except when he was really hammered he didnt even flirt with me once, he flirted with all the other coworkers (since we went out from work for a coworkers/friend b-day)anyway he was touchy with everyone, including some guys.and i know he is not bi or gay, he was not touchy with me, except when i arrived at the club, he said i looked pretty.he kept talking about how pretty my hair looked, and he hugged me, thats it,he asked if i wanted a shot and i said no, (iam not 21) iam 20, hes 25, he kept saying afterwards"arent you 19) like as if he wanted me to get kicked out, later when he was very hammered, he kept trying to get me jealous , with the girls i would be talking to , he would tell them how pretty they were and hugg them, ignoring me, at an after party he told me i have pretty hair but didnt like me cuz im weird, then he told this girl that was taking me home to make sure i get there safe

A) Living in a society where security is the upmost: children with tracking chips implanted, frequent military presence in residential areas, massive network of cameras and microphones, state databasing everyone's activities/health conditions/contacts/political affiliations, where police can deactivate your car, where government can freeze your bank accounts, and where there is 0% chance of any foriegn terrorist reaching you.

B) Living in a society where liberty is the upmost: Children can choose their path (literally and morally), Police would only respond if summoned, the state can only spy on people with court orders, private information would be confidential between you and your chosen establishment (bank/hospital), where you can come and go as you please: no questions asked. Where terrorists can also come and go as they please, and there IS a chance of you dying from a terrorist attack at virtually every moment.

The boss at my law firm has a little spoiled brat that gets whatever he wants and the annual Christmas party is tomorrow and I need something original to get him. If he doesn't like the gift then he will literally throw it away, last year one of the Jr. partners got him some kind of 10,000 dollar trip around the world and he literally threw it away, I have about a 10 grand budget and I was thinking of getting him a IPhone cased in gold. Last year the person that got him a speedboat (his favorite gift of the year) and he was promoted to Senior partner. The year before that someone got him some trip to Verizon to make him a completely customized phone and he was promoted to Junior partner. Look, I am an excellent attorney and I believe that I deserve a promotion and this is my best chance. What should I get that little spoiled brat for Christmas? This kid is so mean, last year I put a 4 thousand dollar donation in his name and he said "thats ****in' useless!"

I made a mistake and owned up to it. I approached a former friend offering to make restitution for my mistakes. The person refused to talk to me even after I pressed the issue and I decided it best to let the situation go. If that person were to come back to me after refusing to accept my apology and attempt at restitution and say to me, "hey, you owe me and NOW I want to collect," do I still owe that person restitution?

A couple of weeks ago my sister and I were on our way back into town. It was dark as we passed a cop on the highway. All of a sudden we got flashed almost up on the bridge. My sister pulled over right before the bridge, and a few minutes later the cop came over to my side and asked if we knew why we were being stopped. He said that the brake light was out and the licence plate wasn't visible because something was burnt. He asked to see my sister's driver's license and registration. My sister pulled it out, saying that we were in a rental. He asked questions ... where we were from, what we were doing so far from home, etc. I told him that we were into final exams at the University, and that we were on our way back home. He told my sister that he wasn't giving her a citation, but that we needed to be aware of the problems, and also that the left lane was a passing lane only (whatever that means) ... does that mean that no vehicles whatsoever should be in the left lane?

Someone at work asked me why I didn't take advantage of grants. I told her that just because I can benefit from it, doesn't mean I should do it. So what are your thoughts on this? If it someone offers something for free or gives a special deal on something when should you and shouldn't you take them up on their offer.

I have done nothing illegal however people have accused me of making Death Threats. I am considered a Felon - Armed and Dangerous. No one in the United States will correct these false accusations against me. Therefore, information in the data base and Rap Sheet indicate otherwise; and authorities refuse to remove this information without putting the burden upon me to prove Factual Innocence. That's Impossible...I didn't make the accusations. Unable to work I must leave the country. Attorneys will not help stating...too much money and too much time. Thank you. JOE

I know a woman who is very nice, however..well, CRAZY.I was talking to her recently, and she told me that she is about to begin training to be a flight attendant for the major airline that she already works a desk job for.
I find this VERY disturbing-she is NICE,however she drinks uncontrollably(DUIs),and has a history of violently attacking her husband and her teen sons. She was even detained once for trying to kill herself in front of her kids.As nice as I think she is, I am also very well aware that she just is NOT mentally stable.Obviously she has kept her act together enough to maintain her job for a year, but I am upset to learn that she would be considered for this type of a high-stress possition
I fly frequently, and I am very disturbed that she was even CONSIDERED for such a high pressure position. It makes me feel like this airline does not even CARE who they hire-I don't want to hurt her, but I feel this issue needs to be addressed with the airline-agree or disagree? How?

My mother went to go pick us up some burgers Saturday night at a local fast food place. Usually the place is always packed but she found it odd that the place had little to no customers.

So she gets home and wasn't feeling that well, but decided she was going to take a small bite out of her burger. I was sitting right next to her when she opened it up. She has a habit of doing that. When she opened it almost half of the meat patty was bitten off. It wasn't like it had fallen apart, because it literally had teeth marks on it and the other half was missing. Disgusted by it she put it in the fridge with the receipt in the bag (for some reason they threw the receipt in the middle of the fries rather than on the outside of the bag).

My question is, can there be a lawsuit against such things? I know if I were to bring it up to their attention they'd just apologize and either refund my money or give me a free meal, which I don't want. Mainly because if we let it go it'll just continue.
