The US is selling all assets; bridges, ports, tollways, land, buildings, etc. We will soon all be owned by foreign leaders. Capitalism has run amok. The politicians have all been paid for.

riccino: Japan is not a poor country. In Japan you must be a citizen to own property. Ironically, Mexico also requires citizenship.

Foreign purchases of American real estate is good for the American economy. It puts foreign money into the American economy - and the buyers can hardly take their property home with them :-)

All the countries that ban foreign ownership of real estate are poor and socialist. Gee - think there's a connection there?
