Well, I was not such a careful financial planner in my younger days that I would have gone hungry so as to be able to invest my lunch money.

Ask a lawyer, but I think that you'd be out of luck if you tried to sue the bully.

Maybe you could sue the school for negilgently failing to protect you--if you could prove that you sustained some kind of psycholigical damage such as depression or anxiety or something. Even then, you would have a hard time establishing proximate cause.

I doubt it - you gave him the money. You could have just told the teacher or called the cops.
