you need to inform them of the americans with disabilities act. it requires all employers to accomidate any employees with any thing they need to get to and from and perform their job like any other employee. the employer cannot fire her for asking this and this should be done with a written request sending one copy to them and keeping a copy of the letter for yourselves. its the law.

Best is in writting, and getting a written response. Remember though that just because you feel it's reasonable does NOT mean that the law does.
