This isn't me, it's a guy I know. He lives in Nevada, crashed a brand new truck (without insurance) and went out and 'bought' ANOTHER brand new truck (now he has TWO truck payments). He bought some electric guitars, a drum set, amplifiers, 300+cds, ANOTHER Mac, he bought his $475,000 house about 5 years ago (it's worth less now), eats at super expensive restaurants, and just feels (and acts) like he is a person who deserves priveledges that we (lowly normal people) shouldn't get.
Anyway, he isn't responsible in the least.
I'm sure the judge will review his spending habits (right?).
This guy just spent $40,000+ before he is going to declare bankruptcy, and he's convinced that he will get to keep all of his purchases.
Any predictions?
I'm probably going to e-mail him this question/answers, so lectures are encouraged.

of the 6 family members here in Washington state. I live just 2 towns away from where this occured. My son is the same age as the little boy that was killed (Age 3). The daughter of the two oldest victims had her boyfriend shoot the boy and his 5 year-old sister because she "Wasn't up to it." I cried all the way home from work after reading how he shot the little boy in the head while he held his hand out to him after watching him kill his mom and sister. I got home from work and went into my son's room and watched him sleep. What in the hell can make someone so cold as to shoot children like that? The Prosocuter is deciding whether to go for the death penalty or not. These people deserve to rot in hell. What is this world coming to? After learning that he might get the death penalty the man was quoted as saying "I have a new respect for life." Too little too late for that. Should have thought of that before pulling the trigger.

It is the law in Pakistan...as in the U.S....that all deaths of a violent or suspicious nature require an autopsy. Yet Bhutto was buried without one. Pakistan authorities have refused the help of an International Agency to investigate the circumstances surrounding her death. At first, it was said she was shot in the neck and chest. Then they said it was shrapnel wounds. Then the story changed, and they said she died from hitting her head on the edge of the car. Although the Bush Administration blames Al Queda, there is no verification of this and, without an autopsy, no way to know what killed her.

From messages written to a friend in the U.S., it seems this woman was begging for security protection. She had come to Pakistan at the request of the U.S. government and Condoleezza Rice talked to her by phone just before she left exile. Wouldn't you think that Bush would have insisted that Musharraf give her adequate protection? Wouldn't you think that an autopsy was needed?

Hi, I'm a 15year old guy(yes I know my av's a girl and that's because I'm a m2f transgender living as a guy for now but that isn't important) and I'm a huge fan of Grand Theft Auto(practically the only masculine thing I'm into) and have got every game so far accept GTA London and GTA IV and I can't wait until I have the set. Now there's this store in town called Playtime Multimedia and I'm a regular customer there and all the staff there know me really well and know what games my Mum allows me to have. Now really I should have a parent or guardian come in with me when getting a game like GTA as it is 18 rated and I'm 15 but at this store seen as they know me so well they let me have what ever game I want and the only rule they follow is that when I'm trading in they won't give me cash for my own safety without a parent or guardian and I only can trade for other games.
Is it illegal this store selling me 18 rated games without a parent or guardian as I'm only 15years old?
Just to say I'm from the UK.

Seen this on a few answers here. If a foreigner is sentenced on the same day as me in court why would people think he shouldn't have to go to prison and I would? That wouldn't be fair to people from here who get sentenced.

Do they get the 10% back on the day of sentencing or do they get it back in the mail sometime after sentencing?

Joe Blow filed a lawsuit against me for slander and libel. I had 20 days to respond to the courts of Florida which I did. They received the response 12/22/07. Joe Blow received his copy 12/24/07. Today 12/29/07 I receive a letter from Joe Blow (plaintiff) wanting me to contact HIM to set up a time for a deposition with HIS lawyer. 1. I haven't heard anything else from there court concerning my response. 2. Shouldn't I receive something from the court stating that there will be an actual case? 3. Shouldn't I receive a summons from his lawyer concerning the deposition? 4. I am in GA and he is in FL. 5. Shouldn't I receive something from the courts saying there is an actual case? I don't think I should have to talk to Joe Blow at all. Please help if you can. Thank you and many blessings for the New Year.

First off I have Never ever even gotten any moving violation!
Secondly I have never had a suspended license.

Two of the tickets were even before I got my drivers license. It was after I had gotten my permit but before I got my drivers license. What should I do? Has this happend to anyone before?
If its happend to you what ended up happening?
Also I live in Illinois I dont know if that helps at all.

My thought was that Joe Blow must think I must of feel off the turnip truck yesterday.Wouldn't or shouldn't I receive the request from his lawyer stating a date and time for the desposition or would I receive the request from the court? The court hasn't even said that there is a case yet. They just wanted my response. This is concerning a civil matter that Joe Blow has filed against me for slander/libel which I must say is untrue.
