Grocery stores remove handicapped places for store employee of the month, expecting mothers (aren't they supposed to walk?). I have polio and barely can walk!!

I would start first with filing a complaint with the store itself , perhaps let local media know of the situation. There are a number of agencies that could assist you like the National Council for the Support of Disability Issues which also has a legal division(see link below) Your Local city Government should also be able to assist you as there are federal rules and regulations for businesses about handicap parking

First of all, The handicapped spaces maybe furtther from the door if they are located near a ramp. Second, it could be argued, but they might be in violation of the section that says something like "Locate accessible parking spaces as close as possible" in the link. The website might also be able to help you contact the right to people to make a change.
You will want to contact the store in writing and keep a copy for yourself before continuing legally. This eliminates the possibility of a misunderstanding.

Not all expecting mothers can make a trek from the other end of the parking lot. The stores put the handicap spots as close as they can. The only place I have seen spaces for expectant mothers is at Babies R Us.
