Here is some footage as the McCanns and friends left to go on holiday... http://news.bbc.co.uk/player/nol/newsid_6690000/newsid_6699400/6699427.stm?bw=bb&mp=wm&news=1&ms3=6

Maybe its scepticism, but look at the body language on the bus... Madeleine is said to be "excited"... which bit?? Kate has one hand on one twin's leg, and is stroking the other ones hair.... Madeleine is looking down to the ground, not interacting with the others, or looking at her parents. Then Gerry's friend says "Cheer up Gerry, you're on holiday!"
What are people's views on this Wonderful start to a Fantastic family holiday that she was SO excited about??

How do YOU keep your firearms safe from others (children-unotherized users), but able to get to fast in an emergency?

I personaly use 2 guns for home protection, a 12gauge remington 870 express (with 00' buck) in my room under my matress and boxspring so when im sleeping i can get it as soon as i wake up and during the day i just lock my bedroom door.

The other gun is use is a 40. Smith and wesson and i keep that mounted behind a dresser as soon as you open the front door. (it also has a holster which is very hard to get open if you dont know how) and no one would think to look behind a dresser so i consider that safe.

it is comprised of short clips from different movies and personal footage and stuff like that. Always under 30 seconds and the message of the film is different than the messages of the individual films. I'm making a kind of collage where I cut out different letters from a magazine and make a message. except i'm using video. does this fall under fair use and if it does not am i supposed to send parts of one dollar to each movie? that's like 90 movies each one would get 2 cents.

I was the victim of a rear end collision, and haven't been able to afford filing the papers...yet.
I'm thinking I'm through, as far as any chance of pursuing the driver who hit me. It happened over a year ago, and because of a false statement given, their insurance denied me. I lost my car through no fault of my own, and I now have the money to file the case, but don't know if I can. I think it's too late. I live in New Hanover County. Wilmington N.C.

I purchased goods through a wholesale forum in June 2006.
Reason I purchased was because the forum owner does states that he verifys all seller applicants.

Therefor all buyers who purchased including myself were confident.

The seller was in canada, and they had sold b4 through the forum and all had gone well, but unfortunatly when I ordered along with other buyers,, all went wrong.

The seller stated that his supplier had let him down ann their supplier had let his supplier down,, but he wasnt up fron it too some months b4 we got to the bottom of the problem.

The seller promised that all buyers outstanding money would get every penny back.

Since the begining of this year the seller has not logged onto the forum nor has he responded to any of our emails.

The seller owes an estimated $19'000 to a group of us buyers.

One of the buyers has filed a complaint at www.recol.ca, that was a couple of months ago.

Has any one been in a similar situation and what happened

My husband came home today and told me that his supervisor wants him to take off his wedding rings while he is working and my husband has been told they cannot legally make him take it off. They are trying to say it's some kind of hazard but they can wear stud earrings and watches and they can wear their badges around their necks so why not wear a wedding ring? My husband is refusing to take his off. He feels he didn't stand up there and take his vows and been married for 7 years to take his wedding ring off and/or it get lost or stolen. They told him he could take it off and put it on his key ring and come on now...The key ring could damage his wedding ring and how many people lose their key rings? Then they said he could put it in his wallet...again how many people lose their wallets or they get stolen? I just think its not ethical for an employer to make someone take off their wedding bands. Am I wrong? Isn't it against the law to make someone take off their wedding rings?

The details of getting forgiven vary in different churches, but they all say Jesus died for your sins, and you can get forgiven by going through one or two steps. You don't have to follow the commandment "Thou shalt not kill", if you can get forgiven after.

Say for example is someone says "I aint killed nobody" then that means they have. Can double negatives be used as admissions? What if someone knows what they are doing and deliberately uses one, they could then say that they had admitted to the crime but were misunderstood.

almost three years, and the case isn't anywhere near finished. It is cut and dry. We were injured while at a stop after getting rear-ended from someone going 50 mph without braking. My lawyer says it is taking so long because of the other drivers insurance company. Three years seems like a long time to still be waiting to go to trial. Is this common or is my lawyer the idiot I think he is? Should I consult with another lawyer? Also, is it possible to change lawyers in a case like this?

I recently choked on a cocklebur found in my bag of Spitz, I have emailed the company and they have told me that the cocklebur should not have been there in the first place. My question is, what are my options and how should I go about dealing with this. I used to be an avid Spitz eater and now I can barley look at a bag of Spitz. I still have the item and was told to send it to the company headquarters. Is it ok to send the item or should I wait untill i talk to someone first?

Do u think finger prints and DNA should be taken at birth and kept on file?
i personally think it should be, this would make crime rate fall considerably as the police would have everything on file already

55 mph is the speed limit posted in my area interstate highways, but almost nobody goes 55. Everyone goes more like 70 to 75 mph and this is a common trend and thats how it has been for the past several years. This has even been confirmed by the speed surveys conducted by traffic engineers working for department of transport. However, my question is that if you're the only person going 55 while the flow is moving at 70 to 75, aren't you endangering your own safety? In such situation, you maybe doing more harm to yourself by going the speed limit then to go 15 to 20 mph over the limit. However, if you go 15 to 20 mph over the limit, you get speed ticket and then you cannot argue in court, that the flow was moving fast. Do the speed limit need to be raised in such a case? the 55 limit has been there for over 30 years without regard to the technological advancement of modern cars. The cars of 70's moved slow, and thats why 55 was initially set as limit. So what do you say about this?
