I was sent to collections by a company that I dont owe money to. Their website stated to cancel you needed to send an email & copy of invoice to their email at least 15 days prior to the billing date. I sent 6 emails requesting cancellation including my phone # in each mails. I never received any more product, I stopped being billed, but I also never received a confirmation of my cancellation. Now they are sending me to collections for their product. I paid for two products, and I only received two products. I really dont feel that it is fair to me, especially because I am so broke and making crappy wages, to have to pay a LOT of money for a product I didn't purchase, or agree by any means to purchase, a year ago. What leg do I have to stand on? What can I do to protect myself in this situation?

I have found a liking in certain lawyers because well they are SO cool. They got the facts down, the evidence, the pie charts.. everythinng! They're not that bad... they actually have a sense of realistic data from life. Not bad at all.. not bad at all, im impressed

I worked for BORDER'S, INC. in 2005, where I misappropriated company assets. I haven't made restitution or civil penalty for $1,475. I have made some payments, but this is what I am wondering about. How can I know if this law firm representing the company can convince them to file suit against me in this matter? Is there a time period allowed for a company to file against a person? I was told that there was, but I need to know for sure. They said they may file, so what would make them choose not to? The law firm says they are going to recommend BORDERS to enforce its legal remedies. I have since then been diagnosed with Bi-polar Disorder/ risky behaivor, I have been sober now for two years, and am struggling to find a job. I have been denied SSDI because I am supposedly not considered disabled, and I have a lawyer helping me with that. I just need some kind of answers, how I can get this resolved. I will call the law firm tomorrow, but I have no money, so I don't want to lie to them.

So I worked for this Chiropractor, as a physical therapist assistant/ chiro asst, when he initially hired me he told me that I would get a raise at my 3 month review, and I never did, no benifits, the receptionist, and the biller are both female and are both pregnant, the biller has been thier over a year and she gets no vacation time, no perks what so ever, the total employees working is 5 including my self, but with all that said he is not a bad person, when it doesn't come to business and I let alot of things slide... Recently I found a new job, but it doesnt start untill the begining of the month, so i put in my two weeks notice, and the next day he calls me and he leaves me a message saying " I no longer need your services, and dont come in on monday", but I still have bills to pay at the end of the month, so what's my move?

He is very kind and supports tour family. But this cell he is in is beyond radical and potintially very dangerous. Do you involve authorities and end up ratting him out? Or so you let it slide?

Mercy killings::::::

If there is a person with a terminal disease and they are at the end of their road and suffering shouldn't they be allowed to have the decision written in their will to be allowed to die...

I know it's more of a personal choice and many things factors in...

Some say just give them morphine well morphine actually can help kill them quicker because it drops the blood pressure and heart rate........

I believe one should be able to file their 1099 tax under this status considering they are not wanting to sue the State of Texas... they only want to be compensated for the years, months and days they serverd the state for a crime they were released from...in other words, for a crime they did not committ.

1- If an old person with heart problems start trouble with someone younger than them and they are both cursing and just at each others throats while in the process the older person w/ heart problems drops dead of an heart attack should the person they were arguing with be charged with murder or manslaughter?????



2-if a person got murdered like 50 miles away from your home with the decomposing OF a body brings flies and maggots correct? correct! now what if the police happen to find DNA evidence linking this person to this body 50 miles away is it possible that a fly that was on the body eating at it could have traced this DNA into someone home?????

My wife and son were both home at the time. He was at the front corner of our yard, almost to the street, and when I pulled in he turned and walked very fast to his house. Before I told my wife about it, she told me she heard noise at the front door and then the side of the house.

What should I do to make sure he knows that I will take extreme measures to protect my family? If he did try something and I caught him, how much can I do to him before the police arrive without going to prison myself?

To hopefully avoid any immature answer, he is very unattractive, I was gone for a few minutes, and my wife is not cheating.

Im in a rut! I am buying a home based on my income and credit. My boyfriend will be living w/me. (We've been together 3 years). On some paperwork they mailed for me to sign, I noticed it had his income listed in the paperwork. Nowhere did it mention "co-owner or co-signer". It just had his name and income. Does this make him a partial owner?
The statement above his name was 'list all persons that will live in the home'. ..Just wondering. Thanks for your replies!!

Man was kicked to death by 2 x15 yr/16 yr olds last week in england. He objected to them damaging his car. Reminded me what happened to me 10 yrs ago. Walking from visitng mother @12 noon, accosted by 8 youths wanting my flying jacket. Sufferd concussion, broken nose, 8 stitches cut lip. One of attacker got 2 broken ribs.. Me still on feet by time ambulance/police came... I called. Could not indentify any of attackers, they went free. Im 2nd Dan karate instructor, run own club, 60 this year. Knowledge kept me alive. Last year, wife woke me up, someone was in house at 4 am. Went downstairs dressed pygama btms (not pretty sight), burglar getting in our car with laptop/valuables. Car didnt start first time, by time it did start, I was sat at side of him beating him. he stopped car, tried to escape. I kncked him out b4 he cud, went to see wife was ok and ring police. when got back he had gone with no valuables.Should i have killed him? and why not? I cud have, easily???

If a man is charged with the felony 'driving across state lines to have sex with a minor' would the minor have to testify against him in court if they had already been questioned by the feds?? I'm wondering if they would just use the statements in order to hide the identity of the 'victim' or would they have to go to court. Thanks.

My faincee and I lived at my great grandmother's house. We moved out back in Febraury and she's still been getting mail at her house. I recently saw that she's been opening my mail. I confronted her and asked her why she was, and she said she thought it was for her, but it clearly wasn't. She even put the mail back in the envelope like it wasn't even touched. It was mail from my work and tax revenues. Is this illegal? and what steps can we take in law.
