His criminal matter is still in appeal stage pending in the Supreme Court of India. Till that is decided he has been granted bail by the said court.

He is on bail, now the trail is in upper court. the upper court will take decision whether he is to put in jail or not, it will take time. Earlier a lower court sentence him punishment.
