My husband received a traffic citation and is fighting the ticket but we spaced about the court date and now we realize its on Monday. Anyway, he runs a solid surface shop and its imperative that he be at work on Monday what can we do?? We live in Phoenix if that makes a difference. How do we reschedule the hearing without getting into any legal trouble? It's Saturday night and we can't even call? I checked to see if they had somewhere I could go on line to let them know but I didn't have any luck. How much trouble will he get into if he does'nt show up and contacts them later? I hope somebody can help we're deperate. Thanks!!

the people that own it used to rent it out but now this old lady is buying it for sale by owner. There is a man that is building a subdivision across the street from the trailer and I think he is in on buying it and keeping it vacant to try and help sales because it is his workers that come and cut the grass. The trailer has a roof over the porch that hangs over my fence on the side of the house. I have been dealing with the city about having the owner take care of it, with no results. I spoke to the owner that is selling it and he always sounds real friendly, but never comes through, and every time I call him he was “just about to call me”. Anyway, we have termites that can’t be treated until that area dries up back there, which won’t because it rains at least every other day and back there it is very wet. My husband is going to take down that tin roof himself tomorrow. How much trouble can we get in? I have taken pictures and I am ready to be taken to court. What would you do??

My wifes brother passed away in 1995. He was in a coma for over a year before he passed. It is suspected that the coma stemmed from a drug overdose. His daughter who is now fully grown has begun to ask questions. He was not married to her mother and she has taken a few wrong turns herself. She is unwilling or unable to answer her questions. Is it possible to access the hospital records to determine the cause of the coma?

have big marks on them to show their parents were married when the kids were born?

I am a single mom and divorced. I am sick of people who assume I had my kids out of wedlock. I will not live with a man I'm not married to because I have morals so there is no man in my household. Why do I have to suffer because of stereotypes about single moms?

we were at a state beach in the parking lot and a friend offered to take us to our car- we didnt really think twice about it, it was a relief to get a ride instead of walk 20 minutes down to where we were parked lugging all our lawn chairs and icechests.. so we hopped our sandy selves into the bed and got pulled over by a cop that was cruising through the parking lot.. he then told all of us to get lost but then kept our friend there to question him i guess. So now im wondering how much he will get fined because we cant leave him hangin with the fine all to himself- we were part of it. i just wanted to know if anyone has been pulled over for this and what the price of their ticket was..? are the regulations the same for state beaches and/ or parking lots?

I work in a large all metal warehouse that is open to the public. We do not have air conditioning. We do, as employees, have access to the air-conditioned offices and free water in the office. However, in the warehouse, we only have 3 fans on the floor and 3 behind the registers. There are large industrial-type exhaust fans that we've been told significantly lower the temperature, but we are not permitted to turn them on. It supposed to be 97 degrees this week, and inside its usually AT LEAST 10 degrees warmer. Our customers nearly melt in the heat...

Is there anything we can do? I've looked at OSHA, but it just doesn't make any sense to me. Can anyone help?

Politicians of both parties debate whether to reduce taxes or improve services. In the meantime, though, taxes remain high and services (like maintaining bridges) are neglected. The nation is trillions of dollars in debt.

If a corporation took investors' money and couldn't account for it or lost it, someone would go to jail. Should more of our elected officials be treated the same way?

I work in a sawmill for the past 5 years. When it was time for me to renew my First Aid Ticket they paid for the course but refused to pay for my time.I am primary first Aid. When another 2 years rolled around, I refused to take the course, after a few months they finally said they would pay me for my time. The culture at work is definitely not good, nepotism etc.etc. Now it's time to renew my ticket again and I asked the mill manager if they would do the right thing and pay me. Of course not. So, I called Labour Board and the person answering the phone cheerfully said too much time has past. Is there a higher place I can go to?

I have a domestic violence felony that's on my record from 4 or 5 years ago and want to know if i can get my CA real estate license? I finished all of my "anger management" classes which was very interesting and i'm done with my probation. I don't have anything else on my record. I've heard it's a 50/50 chance just be honest with them. I'm set to take my real estate exam this month and wanted to know. It was an unfortunate situatuion tha happened in my past and I've learned from it. I do know now that if a women is pushing your buttons by keying your car, breaking your car windows, and being over agressive towards you, it's not ok to slap a women. Please let me know about the license thanks.

Property agent did not wait for HLE letter, and rushed the sellers to sign the unconditional OTP without even giving them time to think for 14days. The HLE was rejected bacause sellers cannot move from 5rm to 5rm and the sellers back out from 1st appt because they are currently serving bank loan(fluctuating and hefty) and they do not want to go for second one. They only decided to sell after being convinced by the agent about their eligibility to sell a 5rm and buy a 5rm. All the while the agent had been giving wrong infos, misguiding and misrepresenting facts. Sellers had been busy in work and study, so had given complete responsibility to her (trusting her). They just complied following her instructions without doubting her a bit. The case was mishandled and it all happened due to the agents negligience. The buyers have sent a legal letter to complete the deal. The agency is not helping and suggesting to carry on with the sale but through bank loan. Please advice and suggest options.
