This woman tries to voice her opposition to the soiling of our Constitution, each time she speaks up, the Americans throw her in a prison. Do they think the world isn't watching?

If you believe in God, but do not believe that the Bible is TRUE, and has not been translated correctly, and is more of a man's word, and law, and story, rather than the word of God? If you are called into court to testify, should you have to swear on the Bible?
How can you swear to tell the truth, using a religious icon, that you do not believe is true?

I am writing a paper about the ONE campaign and could not uncover any of the statistics where all the merchandise sold, concerts, donations are acutally allocated to. There is no information available on the internet anywhere that actually provides a breakdown of where all of this money is being raised.

Aren't they interested in justice. For example, somebody has too much to drink at a bar, gets in their car and kills somebody, the civil attorney representing the victim will suggest to the victim's family that in addition (or perhaps exclusivly) to going after the driver's assets, they should sue the bar as well for serving a drunk person. While one of their motivations may be that the bar should hold some responsibility, surely another motivation is that the bar has deeper pockets than the individual driver. Where is the justice in that, why don't people speak out against that, why is that allowed in our laws?

The Supreme Court on Monday held that states must take steps to register all marriages in all communities. The order can annoy those among Muslims who insist that such legal requirements infringe their right to be governed by their personal laws in matters of marriage, divorce and inheritance.
Reiterating its February 14, 2006, order, the court said, "We are of the view that marriages of all Indian citizens, irrespective of their religion, shall be compulsorily registered in the state within whose territorial jurisdiction it was solemnised." Your comments .

I was told in fall of 2005 that some regulation might go into effect that would ban under-21 Americans from drinking even in countries that have lower drinking ages. Is this true? Also, what sort of bodies, if any, have the power to implement such a regulation?

Sold a washer/dryer on craigslist. They were paid in full and the buyer said they would pick them up in a week, but it didn't happen. I have attempted to contact them through email but I have not received any responses. I feel like I should be receiving rent for storing them in my garage. Should I resell them and refund the original buyer? Any thoughts.

I've heard of so many cases of dumb kids getting into accidents because they were drunk/high. Some of them even had just a permit and weren't supposed to drive without an adult. Wouldn't it be a good idea if for each step of the Graduated Driver's License program, the juvenile would have to take (and pay for) a drug test in order to get it? It'd keep so many more idiots off the streets, and reduce insurance costs for teens that actually need to drive to get to school or work. Just a thought, no more money would be spent on it because the kid or the family would pay for the test, and it'd just be a better assurance that there's less moron drivers out on the road, because most anyone can pass the written tests the DMV gives to get a license, whether they use drugs or not...

In a case from Oregon, two 13 year old boys who engaged in slapping other students' butts are being charged with sex crimes which would require them to register as sex offenders.

Below is the link to the really long story, if you wish to read all or part of it.

My question: what kind of nonsense is this society engaging in that what was once a school matter now a criminal matter that can affect these young teens the rest of their lives? I just shake my head.

What are your thoughts on legalizing drugs? The war on drugs seems to be a pointless waste of money that can not be won. check out this discussion here for more info - http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=ArM7vsg_knGy225Y.wWiDF3sy6IX?qid=20070721035209AAh9ofr

So, my question is, are you for or against the legalization of various drugs and why and why not? Are they really any worse than tobacco or alcohol? It seems to work fine in the Netherlands. Is there a chance of this ever happening? (I personally doubt it, I think the country is too conservative for it to happen)
