On my website, I'm putting infomation from others on it. I am going having them sign a contract knowing what they are getting into. What should I put on it?

"You hereby give me the right to edit and publish your words on my website on the Internet. You agree that I do not have to pay you for this and that you will not hold me responsible for any problems or complications that come out of this."

You agree to let me edit and publish your words.
You won't hold me responsible for it.
You won't charge me for it.
You won't control it, because it is mine.

This is a rough outline or document of what you need to have them sign.

nothing is necessary. I'm not sure if you are trying to protect yourself from a suit for libel, but you are already covered by existing law if you are simply running a noticeboard. If you are editing the content in some way, then you could be sued.

If you are trying to make it clear that they are giving you consent to publish, just put a note on the sign up page that all content becomes the property of the website owner.

I like Dan S's answer. Don't forget your own disclaimer. "The owner of this site makes no claim to the truth or reliability of the information contained herein..." or some such thing.
