cuz this is my first accident, so the officer suggest me to do so, and just explain what happened to the judge.

then after i brought the ticket to the county court they send me a letter with choices either plea guilty, not guilty or no contest.

so i guess i'm gonna write a letter to plea not guilty then appear for trail ?

question is how to start this letter?

A plea is normally entered verbally.

The court might be asking you to explain why you think you are not guilty -- just set forth the facts honestly.

If you can look up the laws in your state/county and quote the law that you are being charged with breaking, explain why you think what you did followed the law.

I'm missing something here. You say it was your fault, but the officer suggested you plead not guilty?

I'm guessing what might be going on here is that you were trying to talk the officer out of the ticket, and he suggested you plead not guilty as a nice way of saying that he didn't want to hear it.

At any rate, Cora's right. You don't write a letter, you show up at court and say "not guilty" and then the officer has to present the case, and THEN you explain your side of things.

Your letter would say nothing more than "I enter a plea of not guilty." Most states let you simply check a box on a form - there may be one on the back of your ticket.
