I would be a staunch supporter of periodic road test, perhaps every five years for drivers over the age of 70. This group needs to be protected from any naturally degenerative occurences that may make them vulnerable to accidents or unsafe driving.

Live in UK.
My crazy neighbour who lives next door but one, has put a letter in everyones letter box saying that if we object to his planning application it will start a dispute and when/if we sell the house we will have to tell any potential buyers.
The planning application is to extend his garage.

The man is barking! Hes covered his windows in tin foil
He probably needs the extra room to build an ark, coz he told the lady who lives next door that God is responsible for global warming and the world will flood like it did in the Bible.

I got ticketed in a company car for making an illegal u-turn. They impounded the car because I have an out-state-license (which is current btw) after being here for more than 10 days. Luckily they let my company get the car w/o having to wait on the 30 day hold. They werent pissed about that, because they didnt know of this law either. Heres where it gets horrible.. So my bosses get the car and take it back to the office. My friend spilled bleached all over the backseat a couple of days prior and we were getting it fixed. So my boss sees that and flips over it. Of course I told them it was an accident and that I did it, didnt even mention my friend at all.

So they told me I was careless and irresponsible. Fine. I guess you can call me that. But, it was an accident and sh*t happens. I didnt try or plan on doing this. I know it was my fault, I took blame for it, I said Id pay for it, & I was extremely apologetic.

So the company takes away the car and takes me off their insurance.

Recently I was coming back from China to the US with an American airline. A couple on the plane had a baby, who they just adopted in China and were bringing back home. A flight attendant was passing by and made a remark: "When she learns to talk, teach her to say 'Thank you, America' ".
I don't know how the couple reacted, but I felt that the comment was offensive. I mean, this baby is their child now and she is (or soon will be) an American citizen herself; moreover, not only the baby needed parents, the parents also wanted a baby, so both sides are equaly greatful. And the comment implies that their child is somewhat inferior and should not forget she is adopted, while biological children of American parents should be more confident and have more rights.
Do you also think this remark was insulting, or is it just me?

Here is the situation. My father owes a little over 30,000 dollars in child support. I am a 19 year old college, so the debt is still building. What I want to know is whether or not I can sue him for the back owed child support now or do I have to wait until I am 21 and he is no longer supposed to pay it. What procedures will I have to take? Also, will the money go to me or my mother? Any information that you can offer for a situation like this would be helpful. Thanks.

So if Yahoo chooses to delete my account because of me speaking my mind, isn't that infringing on my 1st amendment right as an American citizen? Freedom of speach. Now I realize it is Yahoo's site, but this is where questions are answered,be them wrong or right.I know that the world can see my answers and it isn't my problem if they do take offense because I linked to an American site. And they choose them to be incorrect or possibly offensive, but that is my right as an American citizen to be able to speak my mind,be it vocally or typed.I don't think that anyone should be able to control what I say just on a whim or because it might offend someone. I know I spelled most of this incorrectly because I'm upset, but America is about freedom, and I don't know about the rest of you,but this whole PC thing is getting annoying. If I wanna call the pope a bum,America says I can.If I wanna say any darn thing I want, the constitution says I can. Thanks for letting me rant.

Businessmen indulge in illegl activities in the name of development and expansion. To cover up their misdeeds and misconduct they bribe politicians and bureaucrats. Sub standard item exported and incentives obtained in connivance with Inspection Agencies, Customs Officials and Bank personnel. Policemen are on their pay role to delve at the details of their competitors. Liaison Officers are appointed to entertain the bureaucracy. Their publicity officers are in league with media personnel, of course for an unaccounted price. They take ciomission ( bribe) by appointing their own men as Purchasing and Selling Agents. Corruption can be brought down to a very extent if these Businessmen avoid manipulation and misconduct.

He was caught by the police when his friend pulled the car over so he could vomit. The police called an ambulance because he was so drunk. I found out the next day that one of the kids mothers (whom I do not know) supplied the alcohol for about 50 teens. When I called her she said "they are going to do it anyway" so what is the big deal? I was upset because I do not allow him to drink and I do not feel it is her place to give him this alcohol. I do hold him responsible for this however I also hold her responsible. I now have over $1000 in hospital/ambulance bills. Should she pay for 1/2 since she allowed this in her home without my permission. I cannot afford to pay this and dont want my credit ruined.

This hypothetical example: A young man, Charlie the home owner, is renting out two rooms to other young men Harry and Ben. Ben is a serious drug user and dealer, from Marijuana to Cocaine, is only in the house two days a week and keeps a large amount of drugs in his bedroom wardrobe. Charlie and Harry know about this, they are not dealers themselves, but do dabble in drugs, mostly Marijuana and Ecstasy. During a noise complaint the police are called and find a huge stash of drugs in Ben's wardrobe. Both Charlie and Harry deny any knowledge of this. In Perth WA law, where do Charlie, Harry and Ben each stand?
