If you are in a MNC better it will be go & meet your HR department guys there. In India MNC people are supposed to follow India Labor laws but they hardly do so rather they even don't allow formation of trade union as you be aware of this. So no use taking help of Indian labor laws or moving consumer forum immediately, best course for you is to meet the HR department people & get all the clarifications. In case the HR department of your company fails to clarify the issue you can move consumer forum for relief.

Sure, they have a right. However, if they do it's just jealousy in my opinion. They wouldn't be complaining if they were in the same position. It's certain people who buy tickets who think because they purchased a seat they can say such things. Well, they can stay at home if they don't want to contribute to the madness and stop watching the games on tv as well. But there is a reason these guys get paid what they do, it's because that's the going rate for entertainers of their calibur. If they don't get the money then who does? The owner? The money has to go somewhere and I think it's going to the right people, the ones who get out there and bust their butts on the field.

As per my knowledge is concerned, when any company offers a
job, they will take acknowledgment when they hand over the appointment letter and that copy will be maintained depending on the procedure what they follow, means it may be with local office or head office. This helps them for budgeting the salaries to be paid. I think first find out the procedure, if this is happening without the knowledge of your head office people, i hope it will be solved there itself. If not then you can proceed legally with the proofs what you have.

Whether it is a shop or an establishment, if wages are not paid for an employee, whether regular, temporary or casual, he or she should prefer a written complaint to the Labour Inspector concerned who will take further action. The shops and establishments in all the States of India are governed by theLabour and Establishments Act, a central act, adopted by every Indian State.

You please issue a letter to your centre head asking for the letter and salary with a copy marked to the head office.Let the letter be moderate and emphasise more on hardship on account of nonpayment of salary. The letter will do wonders !!
