Crime is an act committed which viloates the law and punishment is imposed if a person is found guilty and convicted of such act....

Some one goes into your home and steals your computer and shots you. That is a crime. But after reading your question I would think it is more like the gene pool getting a life guard.

It is very subjective .... but no matter where you are, if you do something that those that control that society don't like, it may be a crime.

Simple answer....crime is an act that is in violation to criminal statute. You can only be punished if it is in the nation's written laws...we cannot punish you for common law or unwritten theories of laws.

And laws vary from nation to nation...the best way to think of it as violating a written criminal law.
