They don;t care that hard working people have to give up their monies to support them, they want CHEAP healthcrae so bad they dont care if it brings down the quality of it by any means.

Tell me that isnt selfish?

I pay taxes, give to charities and volunteer time, I just want to keep the high standard of healhcare we have in this country.

He has not nor will not pay me for last months household expenses as he was the past 2 years. He wont return emails and has changed his phone number, is he entitled to his things?

I would like to add some letters to my court case file from my kids explaining what they want in my current custody case. Do I just bring the letters to the court and ask that they be added to my file or do I have to fill out paperwork, notify the DA, or is it allowed at all?

Scientific institutions and individuals have been patenting the genes in our bodies and now own them as their personal property. More than 20 percent of human genes have already been patented, and most of those patents are owned by corporations and its aim is to make money.

Here is a potent example:

"Professor Hilgartner noted how this kind of control can play out in the real world. In the case of the Canavan disease patent, for example, a family afflicted by this rare genetic disorder initiated an effort to find the gene mutation responsible for the disease. They raised money, collected DNA samples and attracted researchers to the cause."

"After a researcher found the gene in the late 1990s, he and his employer, Miami Children’s Hospital, patented it and began charging royalties on a genetic test to screen for the disease — despite the fact that they would never have found the gene without the efforts and the DNA samples of the afflicted."

Has anything been seen or heard from that church loving Presbyterian, Mr.Greaseball Gordon Brown and his views on the Catholic adoption rows - it appears that he is flying lower than a Stealth Bomber, and has managed to become invisible yet again.
This man would be a disaster as a Prime Minister as he consistently dodges every contentious issue - his only forte seems to be the manufacture of yet more 'Stealth Taxes'
Please Mr.Taxgrabber - Go home and persecute your own kind, we English have long since had enough of you and your lousy policies.

I am a 55 yr. old female, riding my bicycle home from shopping. I was on the sidewlk as it was rush hr. and traffic was heavy. A young lady came out of a gas station quite fast and hit me head on. I was thrown 25 ft into the street and was unconscious for several seconds. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital and received several stitches on the forehead for a nasty cut. I had 2 blackeyes, and several cuts and bruises. I have suffered head & neck pain since and also my depression has gotten worse. The police officer at the scene had the nerve to say that I was at fault because I was going the "wrong way" on the sidewalk. This was an officer who had stopped me a couple of days ago for a headlight being burned out. He had been in a terrible mood that day also. My lawyer is suing for $100,000. I have never sued anyone before, and I am wondering if there is a chance of actually receiving any money from her insurance company? Would it be close to the $100,000 or do they counter offer?

Interesting fact

Number of physicians in the U.S...700,000
Accidental deaths caused by physicians per year....120,000
Accidental deaths per physician.......0.171

Number of gun owners in the U.S...........80,000,000
Number of accidental gun deaths per year......1,500
Accidental deaths....per gun owner .......0.0000188

Therefore, doctors are approximately 9,000 times more dangerous than
gun
owners.

The other day I tripped over Wal-Mart's always cluttered aisles I was thinking of sueing just to prove a point that they need to be more organized and be more responsible. The good news is my close friend is an attorney and I think Wal-Mart is a trashy, white trash place and they need to be put in there place.

So here's the deal. I went to an auction during a convention to help a charity. Fair enough, love doing this kind of stuff. I buy an item for $110 dollars, to be made and then sent to my home. Now here is when things get tricky.

The person who was supposed to make and send the item hasn't done so. He's said once it was returned and then stated he would send it out a month or so ago, but so far nothing. I've contacted someone in charge of the auction, but no luck with them either. Basically he's tried to contact the other person and probably thinks I'm trying to cheat one of them out of something, when I'm clearly not.

Just wanted to know what route I could possibly take now within the next few weeks if I don't hear anything back from either of them.

a couple of weeks ago i got into a hospital cuz of really bad fever i had. it turned out to be a stomach flu. after 3 hours in there, 2 pills of tylenol and a CT scan i got a medical bill for 13500 dollars (almost my salary for 6 months). now if u look at it as hourly rate would that be 4500 an hour? it doesnt seem normal to me. 2 years ago i needed a filling done, turned out it was more than that, anyway it cost me 500 bux to save the tooth. 1 year later i had to get everything redone because the dentist was so whack it started falling apart. 500 bux more... for 1 and a half hours of work for the doctor. now i feel that my tooth is f#$@'ed up again. can i do something about this... nothing. just pull out 500 bux out of my pocket and pay it because i have no choice... what is american governernment doing about these insane rates on medicine and 4500 an hour in a hospital with 300 dollars pharmacy charge for 2 tylenol pills? is it out of control? i have insurance but what if i didnt????
