They don;t care that hard working people have to give up their monies to support them, they want CHEAP healthcrae so bad they dont care if it brings down the quality of it by any means.
Tell me that isnt selfish?
I pay taxes, give to charities and volunteer time, I just want to keep the high standard of healhcare we have in this country.

u know when l see some one as l am getting off the expressway holding a sign feed me l am starving and they look dirty, l tell them if they can hold up that dam sign asking people for there hard earned money all day then they can get cleaned up and fill out for some dam applications and get a job just like the rest of us. l dont feel sorry for them when l work 12hrs and go to school plus take care of 2 children and my husband has been in iraq for 2 yrs, its not easy and hard as hell at times but u do it cause u want better for urself. its pisses me off to think that l an american but have to pay taxes well lets see for , inmates, poor people who refuse to work, welfare, food stamps , and u know its funny how someone for another country can come to america and go to school for free, pay no taxes, gets loans, have babies, but u ever heard of an american going over to there countries and there taxes paying for us to do free things.

Why are some rich people so greedy and selfish? How can a sports figure who makes 10 million dollars a year jump to another team for 12 million a year and say with a straight face that he has to do so for the financial security of his family.
My God!!! You can't have financial security with 10 mil a year.
So...why are people so greedy and selfish? Look at it this way. If there weren't some greedy creeps how would you know what a good person you are? Huh?
Remember, attitude is a choice.

GOOD POINT!!! I would certainly agree with you. There are so many people on Medicaid now that Physician WILL NOT except it and it is causing other insurances that WILL take care of us to become crazy EXPENSIVE. Right now I pay $50 a month for insurance, if I take my kids off of my husbands insurance, it jumps to like $400. I am not racist by any means but when you have people coming from other countries and not wanting to educate themselves enough to get jobs and then taking EVERYTHING they can get for free, it causes expenses that Americans have to skyrocket. And the care that you can actually afford takes you to a Dr that doesn't care about what happens to you or your family as long as they get paid. True that is not every Dr, but health care as prices increase, your care goes done. No one can afford to pay for it anymore because so many people truly do just want hand outs.

it's a good thing America is the only first-world country without free universal healthcare! Who knows - if we had it those greedy immigrants might get free dental.
The problem with labeling poor people as greedy and selfish is you can never know what they think, you can only know what you think. Maybe this person you call selfish is recovering from drugs and its a full time job for them just to stay clean.

I think the selfish one here is you, people who have poor resources or dont have enough money to afford good quality of life, they have no way to make more money than what they make and that is just how life is. If you give to charities you should be giving money without anything in return a charity is to give money because you want to not because you are obligated to.
However I do think you are selfish because some people do not have as much, or dont earn as much it is not their fault you should actually try to help them so they can be better and have a more stable life, rather than calling them cheap or selfish

Interesting question. I, personally, know a few people that roughly fit the description that you just gave, and the only thing I can figure is that they feel they are owed those things. I work my butt off for the health care I have, but some people work harder than I do, for almost nothing. It all depends on the situation that the person is in. And some people are just plum lazy.
