Should it be law that only those willing to donate an organ be the only ones to get one if they need it.

For those who do not realize you do not have to be alive for donation (donation to science) or if alive, corneas and other things like a face (look at France) can be done. It is not all about just vital organs. In every person even the sick or elderly there is something harvestable.

No because not all people know how to register to donate their organs, perhaps they are not donors out of ignorance, not out of selfishness - you can't let people die for their lack of knowledge. Also, some people are too young - no one expects that a 6-month old or a 7-year old will need to be registered to donate - or that they will be needing an organ.

Besides, if you need an organ, chance are that you won't be able to donate after death because of the anti-rejection medication you have to take after a transplantation.

cherry, you are being a butt dumpling. stop asking this question over and over again.

no i dont think you have to be willing give your to organs to receive other peoples. that way of logic is the same kind of logic suits use on, lets say, insurance. to them the rules they make, make total sense. but when real people have to follow their ignorant rules the regular people lose.
