As some of you may already know, in barbaric Muslim countries, like Saudi Arabia or Iran, homosexuality is a capital crime. If a foreigner caught having homosexual relationship, does it mean he/she can be convicted of this "crime" and sentenced to death or just deported out of country?

All of her stuff is still there. All she took was her bathroom stuff & a few clothes. She IS an adult & no one knows how to contact her family. We called her job & she quit in November! She's behind in rent, but that isn't really a problem. She is like "Family". We called the hospitals & the local jail & she isn't on any of their lists. What should we do next? Her "Uncle Larry" came to visit her in an RV & she went with this man & hasn't been seen since. Her cat is gone too. Any ideas? This is in California. I'm trying to help out my friends with this strange "disappearence"!

There were two petitions concerning a native community (the Newars) in Nepal recently. Apparently there is a religious tradition of selecting a Buddhist girl or girls of childhood age to represent the Hindu goddess Taleju. This ritual is used to unite the Buddhist and Hindu community. However, one petition from the Nepalese supreme court is calling this a violation of human rights as the girls are required to abdicate, or forego their civil liberties, until they hit puberty. They are also deprived of contact with their natural family and formal education. The other petition is supporting it, saying to deny it would be to deny the Newars their right to religious freedom. Former "Kumaris" (girls who are selected as goddesses) report no ill will towards the experience, other than a slight regret at the lack of formal education and some difficulty in the transition.

I have learned a whole lot about the various execution methods over the years, and I must say that there are lots of pros and cons for each type. My personal opinion is that Hanging is the best way (if done properly). Electric chair is probably the worst, unless you are in to morbid revenge, without regard for organ donation, or cost. Gas chamber is a close second (worse) because it is so dangerous to workers and observers, and it ruins organs. Lethal injection sucks because besides the fact that it ruins the organs, it gives the condemned a peaceful, easy sleep to death. It's just not fair. Beheading is OK, but not for the faint of heart, because of how messy it is.

What do you think????

Does having an LLC protect the trucking company even if the owner is the only driver? Wouldn't someone just go after the driver personally, which would be a round-a-bout way of getting to the company, being that the sole owner of the company is the sole driver?

You are selected for a jury in a trial of a 64-year-old mother who killed her two adult sons. The two men were institutionalized and suffered from Huntington’s disease, a degenerative brain disease. They were certain to die and would endure much pain and suffering before they did. Her husband had also
died from this same disease and she had nursed him through his suffering. She took a gun into the nursing home, kissed her sons goodbye, and then shot them both through the head. She was arrested for first-degree murder.
The prosecutor informs you that there is no “mercy killing” defense in the law as it is written. How would you decide this case? What punishment does she deserve?
