My husband and I just had a new stove delivered. Its a great one, has the key features that were most important to me. However, its the next model down from the one in the store they had the price on. We thought it was too good to be true. The one that just got delivered looks almost the same with the exception it does not have an additional expandable burner and is a "speed bake" oven not a convection oven. My problem is, do we call the store and demand the model we thought we bought or do we just live with the one we were delivered which was probably the one that was supposed to be on sale in the first place? Either way, its a great stove for the price we paid. thanks in advance

I mean. If they're known to be here illegally, why are they not deported?
Also, I don't understand why some people don't have taxes taken out on thier checks. IF you know what I mean. Why shouldn't they (or you) have to pay the same taxes we do?

Well I will explain to u....I alwayz wondered that considering the fact that someone becomes a LAWYER,his duty is to preserve and to actually apply LAW and JUSTICE to a society...So why is it that all LAWYERS do(well atleast HALF of the ones in court) is to protect the one who is the CULPRIT,CRIMNAL.I mean isnt LAW suppose to be more clear and fair than that...isnt there anyother way through...It goes like this that whos got the most money will get the best lawyer and that lawyer is going to help that person to cover up ALL HIS CRIMES in front of the court and the world..ISNT THAT CURRUPT and ACTUALLY OPPOSITE TO WHAT "LAW" MEANS.and besides when people think about doctors they think of someone who can cure patients similarly when u think of lawyers u think of someone who is an expert in justice system and will impliment it properly
HOW MANY OF U AGREE or DISAGREE WITH ME.an open question to anyone...AND SERIOUS TALK HERE...and I WILL BE GLAD IF ANYONE TELLS ME GOOD REASON TO DISAGREE

I was never married to my 12 year old daughter's father. However I was married to someone else at the time. My ex-husband's name is on her birth certificate. Now her biological father is wanting to be in her life. This is something that I have always wanted to happen. My daughter and I both are happy the biological father is around.
But, my ex-husband has all the legal rights because his name is on her birth certificate, and he does not want the bio-dad around now. He has known for a long time that this child was not his biologically, but he has been a father to her. I don't want to take her away from him only schedule some time with the bio-dad, and her other brother and sister. We are going to get an attorney, but until that happens I just wondered if anyone knew what the chances are that we can work this out since twelve years have went by. We live in North Carolina

My landlord (actually his son-in-law, who now has "power of attorney") is renovating the parking lot to better serve the business of the nail salon tenants downstairs and is telling me that I have too many vehicles out there. Right now, they are spread out at work and at my mothers, but cannot stay there much longer.

Does he have the right to do this? There is far more than enough room!

I was never told anything about any limitations or restrictions. In fact, there is NO lease or agreement... nothing signed.

What is the best possible action that I could take?

As you know from the topic I don't know how to sue. My story is that I want too sue my son's doctor for messing up his arm. See my son broke his arm during football and I was there too see how it looked after it broke. After going through the doctors and casts the end result is my son got a very deformed arm and now has to get surgery even though the doctor repeatedly told us it'll heal almost completely in time (We got more then one opinion after he told us this, I didn't believe him because of the severe deformality of my son's arm) So the second new doctor we went through gave us actual evidence and proof that he needed surgery (Xrays, past patient reports patients of course going anonymous, medical book, etc.) Now I feel the need to sue. Any advice of what coarse of action to take would be appreciated greatly. Advice on what kind of lawyers and what too do when talking to them is also heavily thanked.

In response to my last question about tax breaks for parents, its not my problem THEY CHOSE to have kids. So why in the heck do I have to pay certain taxes and then they just get those taxes back each year. Shouldn't people with children pay more to support the resources that kids use?

I know it can be done but would be expensive to do. Are human lives not priceless? Is greed not the biggest factor in this? I mean you have drugs which are illegal to begin with but some where along the line people in our justice system make money off it! The courts, jails and prisons are a great source of income. Plus not to mention the fact that if you are in the justice system it's great to have that legacy so when you retire you can boost about how many people you put away! That's an ego issue though. Back on subject, what I am saying is that the way to stop all this unesessary pain and suffering is to STOP THE SOURCE! But once again there is money to be made! Last part here DO PEOPLE REALLY CARE ABOUT THEIR FELLOW MAN?

Does the freedom of information act pertain to collection agencies? The reason I'm asking is I had a very unpleasant conversation w/a collection agency & would like a copy of that coversation. They say that the calls are recorded .... I would like a copy of that but the collection agency said they can't release that information. Do I have any rights to that transcript?

I have been paying child support for two years straight. I have actually been paying $475 over the amount ordered trying to make up for arrears. My only income is disability so I am on a fixed income. My children also get money from my disability. The total my ex gets per month is $1500. Can I count the money she gets from my disability as payment of my child support and send her less out of my pocket? Serious answers only please.

Does it vary from stat to state; my parents live in Fla. I am an adult (24) an my mother wants to claim me, I guess she is going to get a certain amount back and I am interested in knowing just how much. Does the amount increase or decrease according to age? I think she is lying to me about the amount.
