Get a lawyer. The laws in most states benefit the renter, not the landlord. You need to protect yourself and do things legally.
Otherwise, this idiot might end up owning your house.
If they are just a guest, and not a renter, simply give them a deadline to be out. Then CHANGE YOUR LOCKS and security codes (if you have one).

No, call a lawyer for legal advice to make sure that you are within your legal rights. If you are the landlord, review the lease you hopefully had them sign, and go about it so that the person you are evicting has absolutely no room to argue with you. Give them ample notice before you take measures a step further, such as calling the police to have them removed.

by law you would have to give that person thirty days notice(written) after the thirty days are up and the person won't leave you have the right to call the police and have them remove....please don't take any money after you given them notice.
