Well I will explain to u....I alwayz wondered that considering the fact that someone becomes a LAWYER,his duty is to preserve and to actually apply LAW and JUSTICE to a society...So why is it that all LAWYERS do(well atleast HALF of the ones in court) is to protect the one who is the CULPRIT,CRIMNAL.I mean isnt LAW suppose to be more clear and fair than that...isnt there anyother way through...It goes like this that whos got the most money will get the best lawyer and that lawyer is going to help that person to cover up ALL HIS CRIMES in front of the court and the world..ISNT THAT CURRUPT and ACTUALLY OPPOSITE TO WHAT "LAW" MEANS.and besides when people think about doctors they think of someone who can cure patients similarly when u think of lawyers u think of someone who is an expert in justice system and will impliment it properly
HOW MANY OF U AGREE or DISAGREE WITH ME.an open question to anyone...AND SERIOUS TALK HERE...and I WILL BE GLAD IF ANYONE TELLS ME GOOD REASON TO DISAGREE

Well unfortunately criminal lawyers are necessary. Since the society we live, not everyone does their job correctly or without biased. So in some areas, a cop may automatically look at someone of a certain ethnic background and if they were near the scene of the crime, jump that they must be the guilty ones. Many people have gone to jail for crimes they did not commit, and there are numerous accounts of prosecutors who knew their case against someone was flimsy but went with it anyone as they needed a conviction. So in reality, both sides are upholding the law, just not everyone on each side is.

The real problem is (and a best kept secret) that all attorneys upon admission to their respective state Bar Associations must become officers of the court. This in reality ties their hands and limits them to doing things the way the court dictates. There are a number of rights and procedures Bar attorneys cannot possible use or get away with as officers of the court. In some cases it is in fact best for the defendant to go to trial Pro-Se or Pro Persona, they then have a far greater lattitude in their claim to rights and "umpopular" procedures. There is considerable case law covering this. (shhhh).

A lawyer's job is to obey the law while defending the client to the best of their ability. They do that. If you were accused of something, would you want your lawyer to do any less?

Criminal defense attorneys are not a majority of the people practicing law. There are all sorts of other ways of practicing law and the majority of lawyers I know are ethical people.

They aren't criminals until AFTER COURT

until they are convicted, they are just as innocent as you are, and deserve just as many rights as you do
