Been in too many courts for truancies, house burglary and the police don't want to book them because they say that they are minors and feel that it's the parents responsibility to attend all the courts.

For My Democrat Friends:

Please accept with no obligation, implied or implicit, my best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible, low-stress, non-addictive, gender-neutral celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular persuasion and/or traditions of others, or their choice not to practice religious or secular traditions at all. I also wish you a fiscally successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2007, but not without due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures whose contributions to society have helped make America great. Not to imply that America is necessarily greater than any other country nor the only America in the Western Hemisphere . Also, this wish is made without regard to the race, creed, color, age, physical ability, religious faith or sexual preference of the wishee.

By accepting these greetings, you are accepting the aforementioned terms as stated. This greeting is not subject to clarification or withdrawal. It is freely transferable with no alteration to the original greeting. It implies no promise by the wisher to actually implement any of the wishes for herself/himself/others, and is void where prohibited by law and is revocable at the sole discretion of the wisher. This wish is warranted to perform as expected within the usual application of good tidings for a period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday greeting, whichever comes first, and warranty is limited to replacement of this wish or issuance of a new wish at the sole discretion of the wish.

This isnt one of my usual daft wind up Qs,but I dont remember being asked if I wanted to join, and I might be in favour if someone told me how it is good for me-on the face of it, its all bureacracy and rights for foreigners,+ cheap labour for companies that take their factories to E. Europe (is that why we get them over here-as a kind of exchange?). I got no right to ask for serious answers after the Qs I've been posting, but one or two would be good!

I'm looking at a driving ban of a year or more when I go back to court for drunk driving and no insurance. I'm probably going to get a sentence too as I already have a suspended sentence. Just wondering if anybody knows if the ban would run for the time you are in jail or just start when you get out?

Hypothetically, lets say they invented a gun that if you fired it at someone, the bullet would lock on to that person in the present, but then travel back through time and find the same person when he/she was still in the womb. It would then "abort" that fetus during the first few weeks of pregnancy. The parents wouldn't have even known yet, so they would've been oblivious to what happened.

My question is this. If abortion is legal and ethical then would this weapon be a legal way to murder someone? Lets say a husband catches his wife cheating on him, so he uses this weapon on her making it so she never existed. Would that be wrong?

I just recieved in the mail today a medical bill from a mental health clinic (almost $1,000) and it's been three years since I visited last and have never recieved any invoices prior. Is this fair? What are my rights as far as recieving bills? I know I should call both this clinic and my insurance company to make sure this is not an error but what other steps should I take to protect myself?

Do they ever stop to think that some of the biggest and most wealthy slave owners were black. That in many states, Black slave owners accounted for almost 30% of the total slave owners for that state. In South Carolina between 1822 and the mid-1840s a man named Ellison became one of South Carolina's major cotton gin manufacturers, he himself was a Slave owner who owned slaves in the hundreds? Do blacks who complain about slavery and reparations ever stop to think about these black slave owners and wether their descendants should pay for reparations too? Do they ever stop and think instead of complaining about the black men who enslaved them?

I had contracted with a collection agency to try to obtain payment for me on a deliquent account for $1750. About 25 days into the contract, the deliquent account (DA) left a message for me that they would like to work together again and wants to negotiate payment. As specified in the contract, I contacted the collection agency (CA) and let them know. The CA asked what I would like to do, so I said I will work out a number and let the DA know. He said that they could do it for me, but if I want to try, it was okay, knowing that I would still owe them a fee if I collected. The DA had contaced me again a few days later and I tried to negotiate a payment, to no avail. The DA also told me that the CA never contacted them. After that, I sent my required 30 days notice to terminate the CA contract, and planned to take the DA to court. The CA is now sending threatening emails that if I ever collect anything from the DA ever in the future, I still owe them a fee. Can they do that?
