Been in too many courts for truancies, house burglary and the police don't want to book them because they say that they are minors and feel that it's the parents responsibility to attend all the courts.

I feel your pain but in reality when it has gone that far there's not much can be done except put them in some kind of military where they can learn disipline.

Well, you can ask the court for help. I don't know where you live but if there is a family counseling place there, there is usually some kind of intensive home therapy instead of residential thru child protective services. If that doesnt work then they get sent away. I am surprised the court didn't recommend that. Lots of helpful answers above, huh? Email me if you want, maybe we can come up with something???

Sounds like you did a real good parenting job. I'm guessing theres no father figure here either. It's probably too late but you need to enforce some discipline. Start having some consequences for their actions. It may not be easy to go hard on your kids but serious actions like these call for some serious punishment. Kick some *** mom your the parent here.

There are many boot camps that would take them and turn them around. Or get them emancipated, and kick them out of your house.

Or - try ToughLove http://www.4troubledteens.com/toughlove.html. They have years of experience helping parents such as yourself.

If the government would let us 'spank' our children in the first place this wouldn't happen!
But they have to stick their noses in to family buisnes where they don't belong!
Discipline helps! You don't have to be abusive about it but discipline used correctly works!

I think that you should sit down with them and make them listen to you! Then, give them a big lecture on what misbehaving is going to do to them! It should work! Why would you want to send your children to boot camp! THAT's CRAZY
