Do they ever stop to think that some of the biggest and most wealthy slave owners were black. That in many states, Black slave owners accounted for almost 30% of the total slave owners for that state. In South Carolina between 1822 and the mid-1840s a man named Ellison became one of South Carolina's major cotton gin manufacturers, he himself was a Slave owner who owned slaves in the hundreds? Do blacks who complain about slavery and reparations ever stop to think about these black slave owners and wether their descendants should pay for reparations too? Do they ever stop and think instead of complaining about the black men who enslaved them?

You have no idea how much money they want from people who neither they or their ancesters had absolutely nothing to do with slavery.
It is also noteworthy that balcks sold blacks and still do to this day. White people also did not own the ships.
I am anti slavery and had nothing to do with it.

I don't really get your point. Just because some of the slave traders and owners were also black does not make slavery any better. And when people are seeking reparations, they are seeking it from the government, not white people. And honestly, I haven't hard anyone talking about such a thing in a very long time.

Scripture states that enslavers go against the law and sound doctrine and they are lawless and disobedient.

understanding this, that the law is not laid down for the just but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for those who strike their fathers and mothers, for murderers, the sexually immoral, men who practice homosexuality, enslavers, liars, perjurers, and whatever else is contrary to sound doctrine, ~ 1 Timothy 1:9-10

Scripture does state that if you are in slavery you should obey your masters and respect them. But there is nothing stopping a slave from working towards freedom or asking for release and we can take someone out of slavery by buying them out of slavery or ideally taking them out of slavery by sharing the truth with the enslaver and the enslaver releasing them. Enslavers go against the law.

Slaves, obey your earthly masters in everything; and do it, not only when their eye is on you and to curry their favor, but with sincerity of heart and reverence for the Lord. ~ Colossians 3:22

Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ. ~ Ephesians 6:5

Slaves, in reverent fear of God submit yourselves to your masters, not only to those who are good and considerate, but also to those who are harsh. ~ 1 Peter 2:18

Slavery is unloving as it is not kind. Jesus Christ has commanded us to love one another and if we reject him and don't accept his words we will be condemn by them.

A new commandment I give unto you: that ye love one another, as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. ~ John 13:34 (Jesus Christ)

But I tell you, love your enemies ~ Matthew 5:44 (Jesus Christ)

love is kind ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-5

There is a judge for the one who rejects me and does not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day. ~ John 12:48 (Jesus Christ)

I think that there are those who use slavery as a "reason" to not succeed in life. I have a lot more respect for those who have made something of their current lives rather than harping on the past. Yes slavery was/is wrong. But if you want to complain about slavery try complaining about the current world slavery issues. Not history. Accept history and move forward.

Have you ever stopped and wondered why it bothers you so much? I've never heard anyone complain about slavery, and I live in a prominently black community. Maybe it's because there are people like you who, in one form or another, still discriminate against black people simply because they are.

You should learn from the present that the black man blames only white people. They can kill each other in their own neighborhoods every single day but as soon as a white man kills a black they are being hated against.

I'm not sure if that is true or not, i will look at it. If it is, it is interesting.

However, I have never met a black person who had suffered through slavery. Heck, i have never met the child of a black person who had suffered through slavery.

That was a century and a half ago. While a dark age in America, it is passed. If you are upset about being part of a culture who enslaved your ansestors, I say we offer a free one way ticket to Africa.
