that the Native Americans had the right idea when they said that man cannot "own" land? Note: I am NOT talking about their other beliefs, if you drag what else they believe in(believed in) whether it be good or bad, that is NOT relevant

No they didn't have the right idea. It may have worked when you are a small nomadic tribe that has no real value in settling in one particular place for very long but in a modern society it wouldn't work. Property rights are fundamental to liberty, removing them would usher in communism. Communism has been a monumental failure. And don't give me this, well Russia and China aren't real communist countries bull. Yes they are/were real communist countries and yes they really did fail.

In their day, that was a good rule. But today that will not work. It is really a moot point because that is the "law of the land" today and it is not about to change. No one owns land forever, because no one lives on this earth forever.

i agree. no matter how many times you mark and fence off land...it's always moving and changing...it never stays the same...it's always growing and you can't really control it...i guess what i'm saying is...if you can't control it...you don't really own it. a piece of paper doesn't make you owner of anything except maybe a car...but then sometimes they go out of control too.

I personally feel that something that was here long before man can not be owned, merely borrowed and utilized.

Sure, after all, men can't exactly pick it up and take it where ever we want to, but land can tinker, enhance, and bother us all IT wants.
