They include tactics like embarassing you that you cannot pay and even accompanied you to the ATM machine to make sure you'll pay the initial deposit. Now they are asking me that I pay the remaining balance. I talked to them that I dont want to join the membership and that they can forfeit the deposit. But again they are pressuring me to pay the remaining balance and they even hired a credit officer whos continuing to harrass me to pay the sum just because i signed their stupid contract. I need help!

It has been confirmed by experts that our county court "cocked up" the whole procedure; moreover they say this court does have a bad reputation.

Is it possible to change the county court for another one? Can anyone reccommend No WIn No Fee solicitors who could help to enforce the award.

A big thank you.

When we like some items in other blogs like a poem or a story, we want to introduce them to many people. But is is a copyright violation if we paste these poems / stories in our blogs (of course, with the clear identification of who are the authors)?

I would have no trouble explaining nudism to my kids in fact I plan on raising them as nudists. Also I dont think it is gross to see fat naked people, it is only natural and maybe if peoples bodies were being shown a lot more people would notice how much they need to workout. I know nothing about Adam and Eve because I am athiest but if you would like to teach me I love learning. As far as I know nudism is healthy and natural and in places like Finland they dont care if your are naked or not. They tend to be very environmentally friendly people with a very good healthy outlook on life.

I guess your negativity answered my question about it though, I think its just a matter of how you were raised. Thank you for all your answers though!

I was faced with charges about a month ago ... and my court date is today. I had planned on asking for a court appointed attorney because I previously couldn't afford to hire one. My question is ... what happens when you ask for a court appointed attorney? I know that you have to apply and you may or may not be approved. What are the eligibility requirements? And are you usually scheduled for another court date or are you required to keep the one you have? It doesn't seem to make much sense to be appointed an attorney and have no time to confer with her/him.

So here is my question since Americans are not legally required to pay income Tax, Do Canadians need too? Is there an actual law that requires us to pay tax, can anyone show me where? This movie says Americans are not legally required to pay income tax, so is it the same for us?

My friend has been homeless in london for about 6 months. During that time, he has slept at different friends houses, but most of the time, he has been sleeping in his car.

But now his car has been towed away because the tax disk has expired. He can't afford to pay to get it back because he is unemployed, and the car is soon to be destroyed along with all his belongings inside.

He does not want to be on the streets at christmas. What should he do? The local council wont help him get a flat, and he has no job to afford the rent for a room. He is only 24.

Any ideas, people?

I've been goin to court trying to fight my charge with a public defender but it hasn't been looking to well. I can't afford a private lawyer. Since i was arrested i got a restraining order and sole custody of my children...He says he will not turn himself in, and my lawyer tells me that even if he did i still would be charged. I have never ever been in trouble with the law and obtained my apartment for 3 years before i allowed my ex to move in...within 7 months the police were busting down my door. i am not listed on the search warrant but the description of my ex was. they are trying to give me a felony and 120 days of community service....I am NOT GUILTY so ive been fighting this since June 2006. I currently am having trouble finding employment because my background checks show that i'm currently goin to court for the charge. I dont know what to do or anything that can help me with my case. My public defender doesn't seem to be to interested...

There is a guy who lives near me, and he has a huge flag of some country (I'm not sure which one), and below it he has a small US flag. Do you think this is wrong, because if he likes his country that much, why did he even bother moving to the United States? It just doesn't seem right to me.

I am an American who came to France to be an Au Pair. The family refuses to pay me what they owe me, and when I try to talk to them about my contract, they end up screaming at me. On Saturday, I told the mom that if she was going to keep yelling at me, instead of being a reasonable, rational adult, I was going to leave. She threatened to call the police on me. I want to know if anyone else has had a similar experience, and what recourse I have. I have tried looking on line for French Au Pair laws, and have had little success in finding them. I am also pregnant, and this situation has gotten out of control. I just want my money, and I want to get out of here, as quickly as possible. Any suggestions? I have spoken with the American Embassy, and will be speaking to an attorney today. If anyone had similar experiences, or knows anything about French laws, or even where to find them, I would really apppreciate it.

I see all over the place, people who are completely against what is considered 'illegal immigration', but fail to understand some of the non-drug, and non-criminal states that may drive this. It has become a crime to spend time with your loved ones. It's a crime to be a good father, a loving spouse, and in general to be in love with someone from another country. It's a travesty that would situate a family to a point where it's impossible to be together, or to reunite...

Hypothetically, you and your spouse are banned from each others country... What if it was impossible to do things correctly and the only alternative to divorce, and losing your family forever, was to immigrate illegally? Would you? Why or why not? Or would you give up and just accept defeat? Move on... let wounds heal, consider the lesson learned and hope you find love with someone from your own country?
