My parents live out in the country out of city limits in the State of Missouri. My sister has friends over on the weekends to four wheeler ride in the field to practice for flat tracking. My parents allows the kids to ride from 10:00am to usually dusk, no later than 7:00pm. They try to respect the neighbors. The neighbors told my parents this week end that they are going to put a stop to this, because we are so called parting to loud. And the neighbors said they they are afraid that someone is going to get drunk & shot someone. All the kids are under age, so there is NO DRINKING and there are NO GUNS allowed!!!! Can the neighbors put a stop to us riding on the four wheelers on our private property??????

Suppose you were looking for some important information on a certain subject. You contacted all the so-called experts in that field. They gave their opinion. You acted on it and told others your decision. Later, you found out they were wrong. Did you lie, or just pass along wrong information?

I met a young man this week who had been in prison , and while there he had been raped over 200 times, when he told the staff what happened he was ignored and word put on the yard he was a snitch., and staff refused to give him protective custody.

This was many years ago yet this mans life is a total mess.

So my question is should the state be held responsible to him for what happen years ago.
Please email me if you like with comments as to how I can help thios young man. jimmy e

Yeah, I know the law changed recently, but are there any execptions to the law that made it harder to include school loans on a bankruptcy? What if the person filing bankruptcy either has a disability or has a low income? What type of strategies exist for having school loans included on a bankruptcy? Thanks

It is common knowledge -- and a totally unacceptable condition -- that lawyers are the most corrupt occupational group in this country. That includes unfit-for-anything judges, bar associations, and "disciplinary" committees that absolve the very crooks they are supposed to be punishing.
Among occupations that require a college degree, there isn't any
other that even comes close to being as filthy. Other groups that claim to be professions do strive persistently to improve their standards, but lawyers -- including those judges, bar associations, and committees -- have for decades and decades devoted themselves to the self-interest of lawyers with a total disdain for the public interest.
This represents a horrendous breach of the social contract which has given lawyers a licensed monopoly in exchange for which they are supposed to SERVE the public interest, not stomp on it. The main media are docile. Are there blogs or Web sites addressing this situation?

I live in VA and my boyfriend and I just recently had a horrible break up and I was wondering if it was legal for him to call my cell and record me without me knowing so. He called me asking me a bunch of possibly incriminating questions and when I asked him if he was recording me he said no, but I feel like he was. Is it legal or not?
