My parents live out in the country out of city limits in the State of Missouri. My sister has friends over on the weekends to four wheeler ride in the field to practice for flat tracking. My parents allows the kids to ride from 10:00am to usually dusk, no later than 7:00pm. They try to respect the neighbors. The neighbors told my parents this week end that they are going to put a stop to this, because we are so called parting to loud. And the neighbors said they they are afraid that someone is going to get drunk & shot someone. All the kids are under age, so there is NO DRINKING and there are NO GUNS allowed!!!! Can the neighbors put a stop to us riding on the four wheelers on our private property??????

I know of no laws being broken, so I don't see how your neighbors could take any legal action.

You probably have the LEGAL right to do that but do you care so little for the quality of life of your neighbors that you would selfishly ignore their wuality of life too? Do they pay their taxes and deserve a decent quiet existence also? Maybe you should take the high road and try to think of someone else besides yourself? Do your parents just let you run wild? What do they think about this? I know they dont teach morals in school any more but perhaps you could think about this for yourself and see that your selfish actions will only serve to cause people to CREATE laws that will reduce liberty and legally prevent you from doing what you should do on your own due to personal wisdom and decency.

I would say no but the noise ordinance doesn't go thought the state, it is thought he city or county. Normally the noise ordinances are from 7 am till 10 pm , so if you are only doing it till dusk you should be okay...unless you can clearly hear the noise into their house, in that case is might be earlier but stopping at dusk you should be okay...call your local sheriff

I was told a few years ago that the USA has noise laws that prohibits anyone from calling you to sell or bill you from 10 am to 9am . And that anyone making noise to disturb you between these hours can be arrested by the police without you signing a complaint . But lots of luck on that lol
